Velco Guesthouse was a lovely place to stay. It is a little bit outside of town but not a far walk with lots of nice restaurants nearby. The staff were very friendly and the food is superb. The nearest beach was Potami which was really nice.

Excellent value for money. Feels like you’re being welcomed to an Albanian home. Restaurant and breakfast are also nice. You can either find rooms with fantastic views to the olive fields or to the sea.

Clean, modern interior with good amenities. Convenient location with car, but otherwise a bit far from main town. Great restaurant downstairs, good breakfast and we had one dinner there too and it was delicious and cheap. Overall so price worthy!

Around a 10 minute walk down hill to the nearest beach and around 30 minutes to the Himare embankment were most of the restaurants are. Velco itself has a lovely restaurant with great food! The room was clean and had everything we needed!

Nice place. Friendly and helpful owner. Private parking. Room was clean, everything was as good as new. Modern and convenient bathroom. Fridge. Private entrance. Table and chairs outside. Field with sheeps on the other side of the road. Good breakfast.

The hotel is near the centre, about 15min walking. The room was ok, just ok. The people was excellent.

A wonderful find in Himara! The property sits just 250 metres from Potam Beach, making it an ideal base for a beach holiday. Rooms are modern, spacious, and recently renovated, most featuring a private balcony with lovely sea or mountain views. The host family — especially Alex — is exceptionally warm and welcoming. Free private parking on-site rounds off a stress-free stay. Highly recommended

The place is excellent, it has a good location outside the center so there is less noise and it is a few meters from Potan and Filikuri beach. The food in his restaurant is SPECTACULAR and Alex and his family who are the owners of the place, are fantastic, very friendly and always with the best vibes! This hotel is highly recommended

Poor WiFi, there was a power outage for half a day, and I missed an important Zoom meeting..The room wasn’t fully cleaned, and its location was disappointing – it was in the basement. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable – it felt like I was sleeping on rocks. The place was also noisy, as the room was right next to other rooms and a restaurant. The last breakfast felt rushed, like it was just thrown together to have something available – it wasn’t tasty. I definitely wouldn’t visit this place again and do not recommend it to others.

I really liked the part of the restaurant, nice and well maintained, the owners very welcoming, the room had a nice view and was clean, in their restaurant you eat very well both breakfast and dinner, and the price was really good for the services they offered us

Great room with a comfy bed. Bathroom was also good with a big shower and a hair dryer. The complimentary breakfast was great, too. The restaurant overall has really great food. Recommend having also dinner here.
