The property is located on the quiet side of Himare and within a walkable distance to the beach. The host was very kind, friendly and attentive. We got different assortments of breakfast every morning, which we enjoyed in the balcony with an amazing view of the beach. We had a wonderful time staying at Lofos. Will definitely come back again!

“Not recommended”

We spent a week in Albania and stayed at four different properties. I would rate this as not only my lowest experience in all of Albania but the worst experience ever of any of my travels. Let me break this down. The location of this place is on a hill around 2.7 kms from the city centre and an equal distance from the nearest beach and also about two kilometres from the Himare castle. So if you don’t have a car it is not easy at all. The owner will give you a taxi number and the taxi will charge minimum 10 euros to take you anywhere. This place is standing in isolation from rest of the city except for the lovely restaurant Fig and olive that right next to it but unfortunately it opens only in the evening not in the afternoon. So incase you need even drinking water suddenly or something urgent you are stuck here. Now this place is basically three rooms on the ground floor of a house so once you are in your room, that’s the only space you have. There is no reception or lobby or common area for you to lounge around. So it’s your room and the isolation from the entire world. You have a good view of the sea but you will get a better view from places that are right by the beach. The place is most barely equipped so there is no iron or washing machine and Himare has no launderette in the city so if you have clothes that need washing or ironing you are stuck because the owner will point blank refuse to help you with these services even if you are ready to pay them. They will simply refuse to help. The air conditioning in the room is very weak and we went in April which is pleasant weather if you go in peak summers the ac at even 18 degrees would not cool the room suitably. The WiFi connection is very weak and breaks every two minutes Upon arrival two small bottles of water are offered and after that every additional small bottle is 1 euro each. Nothing else is provided in the room. Breakfast is basic and no changes are allowed. No butter. No fruits. No toast.

Great view, nice host, good parking

We had the best stay at Lofos. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable and the view from the balcony was the best. Alex was so friendly and happy to help with any question we had. Breakfast on the balcony was great. Away from the main town but still close by

The view from our balcony was beautiful and a great spot for delicious breakfast each day. We loved Jannis cocktails too- from his relaxing, quiet lounge bar. It’s a short walk down to the beach with crystal clear water and an easy taxi trip back up .

“Perfect stay”

Awesome family run facility. The location is perfect just a few minutes drive from Livadhi beach with great views towards the sea, it’s super clean and standard in the room are high. Both brothers are super nice friendly and helpful with recommendations and all. Breakfast is served in the balcony and it changes daily sometimes omelette sometimes eggs sunny side up always accompanied with sausages vegetables and cheese. We also had one day some sort of home made sweet that was very nice

The view from the balcony is the first thing that comes to mind. The host is really helpful and so nice. The room is perfect for a longer stay as you have your own space to chill and drink wine or beer and then you are a quick drive away from everything in Himarë. We dined at the restaurant Fig and Olive which is a walk from the location and is one of Himarë’s best dining spots both for the food and the view. Lofos is fantastic and I wish success to the host’s new cocktail bar (under construction at the moment). Oh and the breakfast is nice: it gives a nice homestay touch. We would book again.

A new, modern and exceptionally clean apartment with beautiful interior. The room is spacious and contains everything you need such as a fridge, dressing area and toiletries. The room was also cleaned every morning. The balcony has a stunning view of the sea, with a lovely breakfast served there every morning. The owner, Alex, is so friendly and helped us with many questions. He recommended a taxi driver, Bonis, to us, who drove us to and from the centre whenever we wanted for €5 each way. He was also lovely. We had a wonderful and pleasant stay here and would recommend staying here if you want exceptional service and a beautiful room.
