“Beautiful location, room and friendly hosts!”
Beautiful, peaceful location. Best suited to someone with a car though you could walk to the town in 30 minutes. The room was simple clean and modern. AC worked well and was appreciated. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

We had such a wonderful stay at Roland and Eleni’s place! The accommodation itself is impeccable: spacious, comfortable, and with everything you’d expect from a good hotel room. Access is via a short 100m dirt road, but once inside the residence/farm, it truly feels like a little paradise. Plus, parking is available right on site. The location is perfect for beach lovers. You’ll find stunning beaches very close by, especially near the Prinos hotel area, where street parking is free and easy. The beach is public, and you can even find natural shade behind some houses with direct access (next to a Greek restaurant). The main Himarë beach is also lovely, with the option to enjoy it for free if you don’t take sunbeds/umbrellas. That said, having a car is essential if you want to explore the nearby gems: Porto Palermo, Aquarium, and Gjipe (the last two require a short but rewarding 2km hike). And finally, the best part: the hosts. Roland and Eleni are truly exceptional: kind, warm, and welcoming, just like visiting grandparents at their summer house. Even with a language barrier, we understood each other instantly, often with just a smile or a gesture. They made us feel at home from the very first moment. We only stayed two nights in Himarë, but it deserves much more time: we’ll definitely be back. And to Roland, Eleni, and their lovely family: thank you so much for everything. You are always welcome in Morocco if you ever read this message. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Himarë!

“Wonderful stay in Himara/Potam”
The property is very modern, recently renovated, very spacious with stunning of the mountains. However, the cherry on top were the hosts. They are the true representation of what Albanian hospitality is. For them, life it’s all about smiling and creating beautiful moments, which they for sure give you a lot of them. Tip: when leaving the property, drive straight to Pilur (no left or right on the main road) and just keep going. Thank me later.

“We felt welcome and the guesthouse is spotless”
We booked last minute in a gloomy and very rainy evening. Eleni and her husband were waiting for us on the corner of the street where the house is located under the water. Eleni was waiting for us with towels to help us keep safe from the rain, and even if they speak only Albanian and Greek communication was very easy and smooth once we reached the location. The morning after, we were greeted with a coffee and a very nice chat, and we felt welcomed as friends in this very new guesthouse that has everything you need to enjoy the beautiful sea around Himara. Thank you for making our day special and showing us the true hospitality of this area!
