“Local family providing excellent accomodation”

This is this best way to travel ( in our opinion ) in locally , family owned accom like this one . this family are a delight and the hotel was really special . we had three nights here and can also recommend having a meal in the evening here , it’s really excellent . breakfast is provided and it’s substantial, fresh and delicious . If you arrive with a car you can drop off your luggage and they can park the car in a private park just down the road . It’s very seamless .

Wonderful place to stay in Himare! Family run hotel annex restaurant with very caring owners. To start with, we were very happy to have chosen Himare to settle for 5 days, after what we have seen on the coast this is the nicest and laid back town. The hotel couldn’t be better and we truly felt being tale care of by the hard working family. A full 10 on all levels!

There was nothing we didn't like! It was the most welcoming stay we've ever had, we cannot praise Andrea and Melpomin enough. As soon as we arrived, we were given fresh orange juice and a space outside the hotel to park. The rooms are spacious, immaculate and very comfortable. Fresh towels and water daily. Balcony with beautiful sea view. Powerful shower and free toiletries. The food is on another level, freshly prepared breakfast every morning. Eggs, yoghurt, meat, cheese, salad, bread, homemade donuts and fig jam. Healthy, filling and lovingly presented. We ended up eating there every night too. Melpomin is an incredible cook, octopus, squid, cod, all caught that morning. Fresh courgette fritters, crab croquettes. Home made desserts and fantastic white wine, all finished with homemade raki. Superbly situated, with a two min walk to beaches and other bars if you want to try them. Service 5/5 Food 5/5 Welcome 5/5 Would we stay again: 100% If you want boutique hotel style, but with family love and care, this is the place for you.

Everyone at this hotel did all they could to make our stay wonderful. They were warm and welcoming. Breakfasts were phenomenal. The food was so tasty - home made and plentiful. We would definitely recommend this hotel. Excellent stay.

Fantastic location opposite the beach, close to bars and restaurants along the beachfront. Our hosts were amazing, very friendly and welcoming. Rooms super comfortable with amazing views. Breakfast was delicious, and enough to feed a small army. Highly recommend.

“Beautiful hotel just above the beach”

The breakfast at this property was the best we had in Albania. You sit with a view of the beach and are served omelette, fruit, vegetables, yoghurt, burek, tea/coffee/juice and water. It was amazing but impossible to finish. The hosts were so kind and helpful and always asking if everything is ok. The room was spacious and with a balcony with drying rack for your clothes. The balcony provided a nice space to watch the passing parade of people below as well as the sunset. Location was not right on the beach but above where there are steps down to the beach. A short walk in to town for restaurants, tours etc. The beds are very comfortable and shower very nice with hot water. We did not eat in the restaurant but it is highly rated by Trip advisor. There is also a parking garage where only about 6 cars can fit tightly. However this is a bonus as parking in the area can be difficult.

Lovely family, fab location with beautiful views. Delicious fresh food available from the restaurant and more breakfast than it was possible to eat! Super comfy big rooms with unbeatable balcony view. Such nice people was a pleasure to stay there. Would recommend a boat trip that they can help to organise.

“Great stay in Himare!”

The staff were extremely friendly, hardworking, and very customer-oriented! They were genuinely thankful and did everything they could to make sure we were satisfied. The location is central, with beautiful views and everything within walking distance. Breakfast was plentiful and well-prepared. The room was good, with all the necessary amenities. For us, it was the most expensive stay of our holiday, the room was fine, but not a standout compared to other places we stayed.

Perfect location by the beach and promenade. Very clean. This family treats you like family. The restaurant is delicious. Definitely recommend. The only thing I can add is you might want to bring a blanket if you like weight while you sleep. Like many warm European hotels you only get a top sheet. A/C works great.
