The sea view, the service and the pool exceeded our expectations. Christina and Philip were particularly helpful. Overall we would definitely recommend staying at Hotel Alex.

The hotel was really nice, so was the staff! Perched up a hill, don't forget to bring a car otherwise your legs will suffer! Other than that the views were sublime and the pool was nice!

The pool was a great asset, and could order drinks and food from the pool bar for a great price. The view of town and the water was amazing from our balcony.

Nice swimming pool, nice staff

The staff is especially nice, the employee Philip, the view from the room balcony is stunning and overlooks the bay and at sunset the view is spectacular, there is a pool bar at reasonable prices. The hotel is about a 10-minute drive from the sea and the promenade and to get there is a very long dirt road and probably that is why the price is relatively cheap for a hotel with a pool and a view. The room with a small kitchenette is not badly equipped, the room is small and the beds are small, there is free parking but it is always crowded.

The views over Himare were fantastic and the staff were wonderfully friendly and extremely helpful. The staff certainly made our stay memorable

“Overnight stop in Himare”

Clean, comfortable with a lovely pool with great views over the bay. The road is a dirt road but manageable by our little Polo with no problems. It is about 15 mins to Himare beach on foot so do bring food etc (hob only to cook on). The staff will order in pizzas and fast food if you wish.

Perfect little apartment with great views of the surrounding area. Quiet, lovely bar and breakfast area. We really enjoyed the pool.

Beatiful view, the pool was peaceful and host was hospitable and kind and made sure all our needs was meet

Disappointed by the view. Some room have a really good view but if you’re unlucky like us you’ll end up with the view on the pergola of the restaurants

Staff was the best!! And so were the (ginger) cocktails :) Pool and view is lovely and there is a very cosy atmosphere. Good and cheap breakfast and during the day/evening you can order pizza from a local shop (hotel Will order for you). Poolbar is great and rooms were very clean. Thanks all!

Our penthouse room had beautiful views, and was very cute and spacious for us. Staff were lovely, and so patient with the kids Hotel was calm and quiet, very relaxing atmosphere

A very beautiful view over the bay of himare. Very friendly staff. And a great swimming pool. We had a very nice time here.

We had an amazing stay here ! Super helpful staff, unreal views of the sea and sunset, pool was amazing for a chill day. Clean and spacious room. The hill up from town takes about 15/20 mins but the views make it worthwhile (we drove our hire car to the bottom of the hill sometimes to avoid heat of the day walking). Would 100% recommend.
