Beautiful property and spectacular views over the dam and far into the distance during the day, and stargazing at night. The accommodation itself exceeded our expectations - no effort was spared to ensure an enjoyable stay and we honestly did not need anything that wasn't already provided. Wish we could've stayed longer.

“Tranquil, relaxing and beautiful”
Beautiful accommodation that was spacious, comfortable and clean. Kitchen had little extras such as sugar, coffee, tea, salt/pepper and dishwashing liquid. Ample plug points and a variety of 2-prong plugs to accommodate European plugs. A nice touch. Quiet area with views overlooking a dam and rolling green hills. Our hostess was friendly and attentive. Excellent security. Though our visit was for the purpose of meeting up with family again, Thatchwood Cottage helped us relax and feel like we were enjoying a break away as well.
