Hillegom is a perfect beautiful small town , house is at a quiet and peaceful residential street, only 10 mins walk to town centre which has all restaurants and shops and supermarket. Also , only 5 mins to train station that take you to Amsterdam in 30 mins , to Haarlem in 10 mins. The room is sparkling clean and everything in great working order, great shower pressure , love the colour of the decor and the bed is very comfortable. Nicole is the best host , she’s very good at communication and answered all our questions promptly. Also, great choices of yummy breakfast served at the door every morning, no one make a soft boiled egg as good as hers :) we had a fantastic stay and will definitely come back again.

“A long weekend stay at Hillegom”

The B&B was located in a quiet neighbourhood, a few minutes' walk from the train station in one direction and the centre of town and our bus stop in the other. An electric bike hire was just across the street, which we'd have used had we stayed in Hillegom for longer. There were plenty of walking routes to enjoy around the town and beyond. The village is within 15 minutes by car from the airport. It also has train and bus connections with Leiden and Haarlem. The shopping precinct has many shops selling everyday basics and clothes, and some nice restaurants, such as the family-friendly Lunchbreek, and the more sophisticated Alternatif. We had a very tasty lunch of fish and chips in the latter. The owner drew his inspiration for this dish from his time dining at the Dome in Edinburgh.

Great host. Nicole went over and above to make our stay pleasant. Nicole even organised for our bike rental to be available early so we could make it to the tulip fields before the crowds. Bed was extremely comfortable also. The property was also exceptionally clean and tidy and breakfast was good.

Everything was wonderful regarding my stay at Liv Inn and could not ask for more! The location is very handy to the train station which is well connected as a jumping off point to explore. Nicole could not have been more accommodating and friendly, I had some timing issues arriving and she very kindly allowed an early check in and was patient when things went wrong! The room is super comfortable and well appointed with a coffee machine, fridge and ability to connect Netflix. Lovely bathroom and great amenities provided. Beautiful view out into the country side, I came for Tulip season and was thrilled, would book again for any exploring in the area. Also very close to Keukenhof allowing you to enjoy a peaceful early start. Nicole is an absolutely fabulous host and kindly gave me some home made Easter bread as well. She offered for any planning help I needed and was super friendly. Would recommend Liv Inn to anyone!

Amazing host, great location for Tulips and gardens. Beautiful room with great en suite and very, very clean. Nothing was too much trouble for the host - she even got in touch months prior to our visit with advice on booking Keukenhof tickets well in advance. So glad we did as it was sold out shortly after!

Nicole is an amazing host, friendly and warm yet discreet. She upgraded me to a bigger room since it was available. The location is very convenient, the train station is at walking distance and the street very quiet. I was there in autumn but I can imagine the view from the room when the tulips are blossoming, it must be insane!

It is a lovely room. Comfortable, clean and spacious with views of the tulip fields. Nicole is a great host. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful and will make you feel at home. The area is very quiet and safe and it's a short, easy walk from Hillegom train station. You can also walk in to town in 10 minutes or so. An ideal base to explore Keukenhof, Haarlem, Amsterdam and beyond.

The location, the comfy room/bed and the views. Host Nicole was absolutely fantastic and on hand to provide information and have a chat about the surrounding area. The room decor was great quality, was a nice size with good quality en-suite shower room/WC. Breakfast set us up for the days out cycling and close to the Keukenhof and Tulip fields that were amazingly colourful - would stay again.

I really liked the comfortable big room. Nicole is a lovely host. She brought me a big breakfast to my room.

Very spacious, clean and tastefully decorated room. Large and well-lit bathroom. Excellent and abundant breakfast served directly in the room. Good location for visiting Amsterdam and the surrounding areas with free parking and a train station just 500 m away. We greatly appreciated the kindness and hospitality of Nicole the owner of the B&B.

Good relaxing location yet within easy reach of sights and attractions.
