Air conditioning not working. TV not working. Bed is not comfortable. Very dry and old towels. The mattress is in bad condition and needs replacement. Linen sheets had many stains and there is a very bad smell in the place. Fridge had mould.

We booked the place for two days but when we called them to notify them that we will be late. We were told that we were double booked and the person who told me that promised to sort it out. As time passed I called again the story of loosing a family was shared with me. Now I was talking to another person the not the one who told me that we are double booked. We called EBooking and we were advised to drive to the venue to confirm that there is no one. We did in such a way that we were stranded and the host switched off their cellphone.at something to 12pm we managed to speak to the second person . She apologized and we told the that we need our money. It must be noted that when we told them that we were stranded, she said she will call a care taker to open for us but we must know that the place is not cleaned but we can sleep there if we don't mind. This was the third story. The first about double booking, the second they lost a family member they went home. The third they had guest so when they left the place was not cleaned. We demanded our refund and the lady deposited our money. NB : Book this venue at your own risk ☹️

Very difficult driveway to drive down or up. Finding the place was challenging. Intercom doesn't work so to get a staff members attention was difficult.

I could not locate the property even after trying to phone a few times. Had to make other arrangements and found another B and B in the area. Lost the money I paid for the three days.

We arrived to a friendly welcome during loadshedding and we were shown around. The guesthouse is absolutely lovely - it felt like a home away from home. We highly recommend that you do your booking here.
