Tim was amazing and so accommodating when we had to change our dates. Beautiful place with lovely facilities. Enjoyed the fireplace even though it's spring, not to mention the fire bath.

“Perfect Quirky Getaway”

Everything! The whole experience was amazing. From the "adventure" getting up to the property to our final farewell chat with Tim, the whole time was fabulous. Words are not enough to describe Earthbridge, you need to experience it. You can feel the love and dedication that has gone into creating the whole place and the focus on being at one with the countryside is amazing. Just do it!

“A little bit out of the way but well worth the effort”

The property was not easy to find in the dark. However, when we found the property and drove up the 400 metre rough, steep driveway what a fantastic pleasant surprise. Even though, when we arrived, it was late and quite dark, we were met by Viv who showed us the accomodation and talk about things to do. Viv was very friendly during our stay. The “Bach” had a very homely comfortable feeling. It was beautifully and artistically decorated and beds were very comfortable. And the views in the morning were great. This eco lodge is highly recommended.

Last minute booking at Earthbridge and we are so glad we did as it was lovely. The host Tim made it very welcoming. The e didn’t realise the size of the property and grounds which are vast and need a couple of days to explore. Would love to visit again. We picked the lemons in the garden and made lemonade and cake which were delicious

“Hundertwasser inspired getaway”

The property was uphill via a gravel road in a very quiet surrounding. Comfortable roomy space with good beds and everything you need who is looking to get away from ‘modern life’. The Hundertwasser accents are a special colourful touch. The breakfast was excellent; all home made and very tasty. Would recommend this property.

“A tranquil hideaway”

It is exceptionally peaceful and in a beautiful location. We loved all the home cooked treats.

The bush, the quietness and rustic charm. We loved the feel of the place, its warmth and decor. Such a pleasure to be somewhere that strives to be at one with nature. Wonderful breakfast provisions and the homemade sourdough was lovely.

“Lovely, relaxing stay”

This is a really cool, quirky place. The view is great and we enjoyed the bush walks which bein just outside the door. Shortly after we arrived one of the hosts brought us freshly baked sourdough bread! This also came with organic milk, their own honey(!) and other lovely items. Would stay again. Things I like to know: cooking facilities: 4 hobs, toaster, kettle, outdoor pizza oven, milk, tea, coffee, cooking oil provided

“Lovely rural getaway, best shared with friends”

I've been here twice with different groups of friends, and all of us are keen to go here again in future. On a previous trip we used it as a first stop from Auckland before going further north to the rest of Coromandel. This trip we stopped in Paeroa before check-in on a Saturday to look at all the antique stores and opshops. At Earthbridge in summer it's great to go down to the rocky stream and have a dip, and maybe a BBQ too, and watch the sunset on the ridge of the property with the provided insect repellent. For cooler days you can sit around the fire, or relax in the fire bath. Brew some tea and play boardgames. With clear skies at night, you can spend a long time looking at the stars - I was very excited to see a shooting star clearly :) In future I would like to spend more time in the local forest tracks. Tim and Vivienne are beautiful hosts, and are happy to give you space if you prefer privacy, but I encourage you to chat with them about how they made the place, their future projects. It's a real highlight personally, inspiring.
