Very cozy guesthouse in a beautiful location. So close to the lake and the castle. The owner is very friendly and helpful. There are free bikes too!

The vibe was super chill and cozy. Noguchi-san was very friendly and easy to chat with. Love this place and I’d love to visit again to explore Hikone further.

This guesthouse/cafe combination is set in a peaceful residential area of Hikone. The owner is really friendly. He is happy to help you with travel advice. There is a nice common space with a view of Hikone Castle. The dorm was very simple, but I found the bed to be comfortable. Great value stay in Hikone!

Owner was such a lovely guy, very polite and accommodating. The area was serene and calming which was just what I needed after being In the cities. Very relaxed atmosphere.

Really cute and lovely owner of the guesthouse. Quiet neighbourhood but the owner kindly let us use his bicycles which we used to cycle to the castle!

Breakfast was garlic bread with coffee, it was good! I also forgot an item when I left the property during check-out, and the owner of the hostel was quick to inform me before I reached the train station.

“nice host !!!”
The accommodation has a cozy home-like atmosphere, the host is very nice and welcoming. Would recommend to those who prefers homestays with a personal touch over large hostels. The facilities are also clean and the bed is very comfortable. It is only a few minutes walk from the lake side and the hikone castle.
