A great hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The included breakfast and drinks was a nice surprise, especially considering the daily charge. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Well worth staying at.

Breakfast is complimentary and is great! Coffee machine is free for use during the day. Staff are nice. Facilities are basic but more than enough for a short stay.

Locations was very close to Hikone station. Breakfast was wholesome, clean towels every day, accessable washing machine and dryers for own use.

We booked the Comfort Hotel for its location, close to the station and knowing the room would be a modest size. Indeed the hotel was a couple of minutes' walk from the station. As advertised, the room was just large enough for two people with the one side of the bed against the wall. There was no small table to place beside the bed but we improvised so that a CPAP machine could be used as the useful writing bench was too far from the edge of the bed. For two people staying two or three nights, the hotel room is warm but small if people like to move around a lot. The hotel provided breakfast with a range of items though it finished at 9am on weekdays, perhaps a bit earlier than some other hotels. On the other side of the nearby station there are several restaurants of different kinds. Almost outside the hotel door are two other restaurants.

The location and price were the key reasons for booking and neither disapointed. I felt the price was great for what we got and the location was exactly what I wanted, right beside the station. Best part of the room was that we could turn the lights on and off from the bed, a small thing but made our stay much better.

Great location next to train/bus station with good connections to Kyoto and Osaka. Lots of restaurants around,18 mins walk to Hikone Castle. Smaller air conditioned room but good enough for a couple,cleaned every day also we have had fresh towels daily. Complementary breakfast with various dishes. Laundry room (easy to use and cheap) also vending machines on the same floor. Staff were very friendly,helpful and polite. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for not expensive and very good hotel.

“Very convenient location”

It was in a very convenient location, right next to the station and a lot of restaurants. The castle was in walking distance. Our stay included a breakfast as well, which was really tasty.

Had all the essentials! I'd rate it higher than the Toyoko inns that I've been to. Hikone really is a wonderful place to stay at and this hotel is right next to the JR station. In addition, the Chinese food place next to the hotel had the best food.
