The host was super super nice and helpful. The room and bathroom were modern, clean and super comfortable. The breakfast was great, especially the fresh fruit and fresh juice.

Definetly one of the cleanest and best equipped rooms we stayed at in Sri Lanka. Just a 5min walk to the beach and even closer to the supermarket, where you can get groceries for the in-room kitchen!! Can highly recommend 👍🏼

“Fabulous, comfortable apartment.”

Very comfortable stay, very clean, good facilities to cook meals, good wifi, very polite and helpful host, good AC, water kindly provided at local prices. Great location (but I recommend bringing earplugs because of the train track).

Please see my previous review. This is a lovely place to stay. Just a note that the hosts father is a Tuk Tuk driver and drove us to our next destination for a really good price. He was a very calm driver. He also does Tuk Tuk tours.

“Lovely apartment in a great spot.”

We loved staying here and even extended our stay. The room is very big and it has everything we needed. The bed is really comfortable, the linen and a towels were very clean and the kitchen is well equipped for two people. The bathroom is modern and big. The entire apartment was exceptionally clean and the lovely lovely host had the aircon on when we arrived . It was bliss after our journey. The air conditioning works really well and the veranda is a really nice place to sit. The little road the apartment is on is very quiet with only very occasional Tuk Tuks going by and the surrounding area is generally very quiet. When we first arrived we thought the trains would disturb us because the track is very close, but they really didn’t. They didn’t wake either of us at night and by the second day we sort of stopped noticing them during the day. The apartment is really close to turtle beach (about 5 minute walk), where we did see a beautiful big turtle. There are shops and restaurants very close by. We just crossed the tracks (easy to do because trains are not frequent) and went down the small ally and we were on the Main Street. The hosts are so kind and helpful and very welcoming. They also let you use the washing machine to laundry.

Kasun was a fantastic host, very accommodating to my late check-in and helped me find my way to the villa (my GPS wasn’t working). The rooms were incredibly clean with AC, a ceiling fan and a kitchenette, and the views from the balcony are beautiful. It’s also one of the cleanest places I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka! Considering it’s proximity to the main strip in Hikkaduwa, the hotel is a very reasonable price and would stay there again - thank you Kasun :)

Perfect location, quiet but a very short walk to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. Very kind hosts, told us helpful information for getting around Hikkaduwa and where things are, offer to arrange transport to airport. The room is very big, perfectly clean and has its own kitchen which saves money on eating out. Nice large balcony out the front where you can eat and look out at the train. Would highly recommend and return to stay here if we were to come back to Hikkaduwa.

Nice Appartement and big and new. Just cross the railway as a short cut and then you are close to the main street.

I liked absolutely everything) there were very friendly and helpful owners, living next door(house), cleaning every two days, nice room with fresh renovation, kitchen with everything you need. The location is good, not far from the narigama beach, city center, and the main road with stores.The apartment is right near the railroad, but ir is ok, because trains runs not very often and it is kind of an entertainment to sit on the porch and watching them going)

“Amazing stay in beautiful villa”

Beautiful apartment. The room is very spacious and modern. The equipment provided in the kitchen is sufficient for home cooking and would be great for longer stays. Our apartment had a lovely balcony with table, chairs and candle where you could enjoy meal. Family who runs the villa are very friendly and are always happy to help! For those wondering, yes the train is noisy however, we knew this prior to booking and for the price of the apartment we didn’t feel it was an issue. Just make sure to bring some ear plugs. Location is very close to beach front (5 mins walking).

Great villa! The villa is very clean, good furniture, comfortable bed and clean linens. The villa has a good location, shops, cafes and the ocean are nearby. There is a railway near the villa, and sometimes a train arrives (several times a day). But for me this was not a problem. Very friendly hosts, kind and smiling. I will definitely return to this villa!
