Great apartment on the 2nd and 3rd floor above the bank on the main road behind the beach. Centrally located for shops and bars and very quick access on to the beach. The owners and family were very helpful and friendly, giving us all the information we needed on the accommodation and the local area and they kindly arranged our airport transfer. Basic toiletries included and very comfy beds. I would thoroughly recommend Villa Hikka and would stay here again if I visit Hikkaduwa.

One of the best locations we have been so far ..The perfect family stay with all the essential commodities..The wonderful hosts have taken extra special care to make the stay more comfortable with all the facilities... Very neat n beautiful house ..the location is also good.. very near to the beach...It felt like home.. The open terrace kitchen is just awesome.... The house decor is just wonderful... The fresh water shower near the entrance was very nice as coming back from the beach became less messy...

Beautifully clean and well appointed. Nimal and his family were so accommodating of us when we fell sick. They brought fresh fruit and homemade chicken & vegetable soup.

Large apartment with comfortable beds and great dining and living space - the kitchen and rooftop terrace and large TV with Netflix was a great touch. Nimal and his wife were so accommodating on our arrival and was easy to get in contact with over WhatsApp throughout our stay. We would highly recommend staying here.

“Perfect stay at Hikka”

Nimal and his family are wonderful hosts, we felt right at home. Villa is very cozy and spacious - perfect for 3-4 guests. Two bedrooms are well conditioned and shaded for great sleep. Fantastic terrace with lot of plants and great view on the ocean. Location is few minutes from sandy beach with snorkeling, nice restaurants are nearby as well.

“Great location - a home away from home”

We loved the location and cleanliness. We literally walked across the road, hired some snorkels and went swimming with turtles. Aircon was great in the bedrooms and really well stocked kitchen. The private balcony was lovely too.

“Amazing place- don't miss it”

The villa is simply amazing. Two sepcious bedrooms, living room and kitchen with nice bathroom. The real gem is terraced kitchen on the top of the building with many plants and fish ponds. Absolutely amazing place to stay and feel like in own home. Owners were also amazing and contact with them was a real pleasure. Their friendliness and professionalism is just outstanding.

“A home away from home!”

Beautiful appartment with all you need for a succesfull vacation. The hosts are amazing, providing info and hospitality above and beyond. We loved the terrace for morning coffee and evening aperitif. Shower downstairs and feet shower made watersports so much more enjoyable. A lovely place to stay where you have your own calm space in the middle of all the buzz of Hikkaduwa!

“An excellent stay in a unique well run villa.”

This was a good choice. The location is useful being across the road from the beach, very close to all transport links, shops, restaurants, bars, night entertainment, banks/ATMs etc. The villa was in excellent condition, totally clean, two good-sized air conditioned bedrooms and comfortable sitting and dining/laundry rooms. The bonus was the large roof terrace with a very well equipped kitchen. The hosts encouraged us to invite our local friends and their family to visit which gave us two enjoyable afternoon and evenings on the comfortable roof terrace. It felt like a family party. Our host, Nimal had allowed our friend to view, and take photos of the villa before our visit and Nimal had been in touch with our friend to make sure the reception at the villa was OK for our benefit. Now for us, as regular travellers, that is a first! We did much cooking in the really good half open kitchen. Nimal and his wife are an lovely excellent couple. They gave comprehensive information about the villa. They visited once, armed with presents and fruit. They were extremely helpful and friendly. We hope to be using their villa again very soon.

Wonderful apartment with great ACs in the bedrooms, a working TV in the living room, but the nicest part is really the rooftop with so many plants and a kitchen up there to just unwind at the end of a beach day. It is walkable to the beach, just across the road, and many shops and food outlets nearby. We walked to Turtle beach just fine with our two small children, and a TukTuk was also available when it rained, easy to catch from the main road. Safe place, no issues during our stay.

It's a apartment with everything you need. Lovely roof-terrace with a kitchen. We could even use the washing machine which was welcome after 3 weeks of travelling. The owners are very nice people. The location is also good. Lot's of restaurants and shops of you need anything. Hikkaduwa beach is across the street, but we did not like it (small, crowded). But with a TukTuk it's a few minutes to Narigama beach and that is really nice.

“A villa where you want to return”

I really enjoyed my stay in the villa. Convenient location near the beach, close to shops and cafes, very clean in the house, there is everything you need to stay. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, gas stove, various dishes and pots. The hosts are very kind and helpful, respond instantly to any requests, there is a stock of bed linen and towels, each bedroom has a hairdryer. It's very cozy. The air conditioners work perfectly, there is always hot water in the shower, comfortable beds. There are many flowers and several bowls with fish on the roof in the recreation area. Thank you very much to the hosts for the warm welcome and comfortable stay😍💖)))

This was the nicest place we stayed in Sri Lanka. It is a private home. The owners move out for 6 months of the year to earn money to educate their children. We had the run of the house - living room, dining room, bathroom with good shower, bedrooms with very big , comfortable beds and air-conditioning and best of all, a very well equipped kitchen upstairs open on to a rooftop garden. There was a washing machine and iron so we washed our clothes. They dried in no time on the line. It is situated in the centre of the town with access to a very safe beach just across the road. The hosts couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. It was great value for money.

The villa fully corresponds to the description and photo. The owners are wonderful people. You have a huge area with all the amenities at your disposal. Ideal for a family with children, near is a beach with a reef and fishes, for about a 3 minutes from villa. There are a lot of fruit shops around, a fish shop is a little further. I can recommend this for all: 2 big bedroom, big hall, kitchen in the roof with all dishes. A small minus - some noize from road, but we were with Earplugs.

Excellent place, fully equipped, huge terrace with kitchen. AC, hot water, great location, supermarket, fish market, beach all within a 5 minute walk distance. Lovely hosts who were very helpful.
