The owners were super friendly and showed us some traditional Sri Lankan cooking! We had such a nice 11 days here! We had the whole villa to ourselves and the hosts were close by to help with anything we needed even dropping a taste of their dinner each night! Made us feel like family!

“A beautiful place!”

This has been our favourite place we've stayed in Sri Lanka so far! It's set in a beautiful and peaceful area away from the main road and bustle of Hikkaduwa. The walk to and from town is lovely with towering palm trees and friendly faces along the way and in the morning you can sit on the roof and listen to the birds, frogs and other wildlife - if you're lucky you see a monkey or two. Ishan and Bhashini were the best hosts, so friendly and warm. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and nothing was ever too much hassle. They went out of there way to give us a great experience and teach us about Sri Lanka, they gave us coconuts off their land, starfruit from a friends place and showed us the traditional method to make coconut milk. We cooked and ate with them one evening and it was possibly the best meal we've had here, they showed us how to make multiple curries and it was just a lovely evening! We couldn't recommend this place enough, the location is great if you're after a quiet place to rest your head but being super close to town, the nature around is beautiful, the people are amazing and friendly and the villa itself was everything you'd want. Clean, simple, fully equipped kitchen, lovely porch to sit out on and a blender to make those smoothies in the morning!

As many travelers noted, the hosts of the place are an absolute treasure. Not only being super helpful but also adding a lot of small touches that will make your stay special. The house is very clean, great kitchen, lovely fenced-in yard. The beach is a short walking distance away.

We had an amazing 11-night stay. The house is beautiful, and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including a brand-new rice cooker, blender, stove, fridge, and all the necessary utensils. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. They even took us on a trip to the river and prepared a delicious dinner for us. Throughout our stay, they always checked if everything was okay and made sure we were comfortable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy and hospitable experience!

This lovely vacation villa is run by the lovely young couple - Bashini and Ishan. I stayed here my last few days in Sri Lanka and it was fantastic. They are so generous and helpful and they love to share their Sri Lanka experiences with guests. They taught me how to make the traditional Sri Lankan food Kotthu and took me to feed fish and turtles the next morning. The villa is hidden a bit away from the noisy street and it's perfect - you get to see some nature and you're still at a walking distance from the beach. It has whatever you need, a little kitchen and great facilities with a very pretty garden to look at. I was so happy I found this place at the end of my stay and I really enjoyed my time with them! Would definitely recommend. They also offer trips on bikes with them which in general is a great way to get around and see Sri Lanka. 🩷🌞 I was so sad to leave and I am 100% coming back. 😍

The location is amazing. It has everything you need not further than in a 15 minutes walk. The place is very quiet, no sounds of cars or bikes can be heard. The railroad is far away so the sounds of trains are not bothering at all. The house is surrounded by bushes and flowers and there are many lovely birds and butterflies that always fly around. The house is very nicely decorated and very clean. It is cozy, has flower pots, paintings on the walls and a lovely fish tank. It is also very bright and allows working and reading with comfort. The hosts are better than one could ever expect. They are really helping and generous. They showed us around and recommended good places to buy things and to have dinner. Several times they gave us fruit or juice, which was really lovely. Every time we had a question, they responded instantly and tried to do their best to solve each problem. My husband and I work online, so we needed an extra desk and they gave in to us within two days. The hosts also suggested going on a tour with them. They took us to a river by a tea plantation with clear water, where we had a chance to swim. An excursion to a tea factory was also included and it was very interesting. We had some local fruit for lunch and visited the city of Galle. We spent two weeks at the villa and wanted to stay for longer but the villa was already booked. Thank you for great memories!
