Beautifully appointment rooms. Spotlessly clean. Welcomed with a cold towel and iced tea after a very hot train ride 😋 Chamara and ladies pay alot of attention to details. Plunge pool great. Rooms spacious. Good Aircon. Totally recommend.

We loved this place - great location! It provides peace & quiet after a long day out. Only two rooms - so you get privacy. Surroundings are quite tranquil and romantic. The pool was very clean and refreshing. It’s a walking distance to the surrounding beaches. You can walk to the main road. Train station is very close - 5min walk, very convenient if you want to take a trip to Galle. Family-run business, the hosts are great, very welcoming. Room was fantastic, spacious, comfy beds, spotless and there were small details such us little flowers placed all around the room - great touch. Breakfast to die for! We stayed 3 nights and had Sri Lankan breakfast each morning - it was never the same, different curies every day. The whole property is very well maintained and so clean! Overall a superb experience and we highly recommend this place.

The hosts were absolutely wonderful. Great communication, very accommodating, always asking to help, very informative. Room was very clean with lots of amenities. Arranged for drivers from the airport and great location near the beach. Lovely breakfast with stunning views from the roof. Definitely would recommend staying here!

Peaceful, comfortable and super clean. Well located, close to the beach, the train station, local shops and restaurants. Only two spacious rooms and a short 2 min walk from the busy tourist strip so very quiet. Wonderful breakfast and helpful staff. Couldn’t ask for more.

We staid here for 8 days after a very smooth and comfortable transfer from the airport to Hikkaduwa by Chamara himself who proved himself time and time again to be the perfect host. The hotel itself is very private and cozy with only two rooms and manages to be close enough to the beach and the centre to reach everything on foot and at the same time being completely undisturbed by the hustle and bustle of Hikkaduwa so you can enjoy the songs of Sri Lanka's many beautiful birds. The room was very clean and beautifully designed as well and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I'd highly recommend it to anybody interested in coming to Hikkaduwa.

This is by far the best place we have stayed while touring Sri Lanka. It was so clean, well presented, comfortable well equipped with extras. The staff we lovely, the owner friendly and happy to help and guide us on our way. I could have easily stayed longer. The Residence was the best place we stayed during our travels around Sri Lanka. Chamara and the team really went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable from sorting early check in to sharing restaurant recommendations and transport advice. The room was exceptional, spacious and very modern and the plunge pool/sun deck area was lovely. The team always had a smile on their face which was a plus! The location is excellent, only 5 minute walk from the beach and the main shops/restaurants. And also tucked away off the main road so you manage to have a nice peaceful sleep. Thank you very much Chamara and team! We will definitely be paying another visit.
