The location is great, tucked away in a small alley but very close to the beach and restaurants. The fan and aircon work well although aircon is very noisy)

It was located in a very nice area, beds were comfortable, check in was easy, the place where the hotel was located was very pretty and green.

We stayed for one night as it was a transit stays for us. Location is very good, the patio is arranged and clean - we enjoyed it. The rooms are simple and clean. There are no bugs inside (or just very few- so no issue with that or geckos). The bed is very comfortable and the sheets are pleasent - do not expect luxury but it was very confortable. AC working well. We had breakfast which was good (tipic sri lankan breakfast: eggs, bread, butter, gem and a fruit fresh). The family is very kind and nice!

The room was clean. The owner is friendly. AC was working. Very short walk to the beach. Concerning my criticism one should regard the price of this accomodation.

Make sure you don’t book the cheaper room. The bed is terrible, the mattress is totally worn out. There was also a weird smell in the room. On top it was also very noisy, there is a train track right behind the hotel and you could hear the other visitors and the owners of the accommodation very clear through the walls.

Huge bed and very clean

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The hosts are absolutely wonderful - so warm, welcoming, and accommodating, which really made the experience special. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The only minor downside is the noise from nearby trains, but if you’re not too sensitive to sound, it shouldn’t be a problem. Overall, a great place with great people!

Couldn’t be better!! Room clean nice and big. Owner friendly and if you need help, just ask. They contacted us 1 day after we booked the room, if we need help. Location is perfect!!! The only thing is, the railway is next to the house. Could be loud, but if you go for surfing is like an alarm to wake up and move your body:)

Beautiful, clean room with a lovely balcony. Location is great, very central, only a 3 minute walk to the main beach. Loads of nice restaurants and bars within walking distance. AC was great and lovely bathroom with a great shower. The owners are fantastic, very friendly and helpful.
