“Relax by the beach”

Great location. Next to the beach. Lovely hotel. Very calm and relaxing. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Food was great. We had b&b so great breakfast on the beach. Ate out some nights but when we stayed at the hotel the evening meals were delicious. Great sunsets.

Food was exceptional. Breakfast was included and we had English breakfast and fruit and muesli. We ate in the restaurant every night as after the first night decided we didn’t need to look elsewhere as there was plenty of choice and was superb. We could walk along the beach to the busier Turtle beach but come back to quieter beach and hotel when we wanted. Pool was a bonus as told that swimming in the sea in front of the hotel was not advised.

We had a lovely 4 night stay at Suite Lanka, our first stop in Sri Lanka. The hotel is in a great position, backing straight on to a beautiful stretch of Hikkaduwa Beach. It is away from the busier part of the town which is just a short walk along the beach. The staff at the hotel were all excellent and looked after us extremely well. The rooms have large verandas or balconies which over look the water and the garden terrace is a beautiful spot for breakfast and dinner. Breakfasts were good and we had one dinner at the hotel which we really enjoyed. Our room was clean and comfortable with good air conditioning.

A good hotel on the beach in a quiet part of Hikkaduwa. Comfortable rooms, Pleasant staff, good restaurant food for breakfast and dinner.

We stayed in the largest room, which was very spacious. The hotel is cozy and the location close to the beach is excellent. The pool is also very good. Breakfast was good with delicious freshly baked bread. The food in the restaurant was exceptional – we had the Sri Lankan curry almost every evening. On the last night we asked for it prepared the way locals eat it, and it was incredibly spicy but with amazing flavors. Other dishes were also very good. The staff were extremely good, especially the restaurant staff, and the cleaning was excellent.

The staff - Siri and the team were great. Krish and the other restaurant staff were super nice and super helpful. I think he and his colleagues are the best thing about the hotel. They helped us with everything during the afternoon after we checked out.

“Fantastic hotel”

This place is heaven. We felt so well looked after by Siri and the team. Room was huge with big 4 poster bed, huge shower. Decorated with flowers every day. Large terrace with chairs to enjoy the sea view. Beautiful garden area and dining next to beach. Comfortable sunbeds with parasol. Didn't use the pool but it was a great size. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Delicious breakfast with very light tea especially for me. Lunch and dinner also good, loved the date cake. Security guy lovely and showed us the turtles at night on the beach. Quieter end of town but with the most beautiful beach. Tuktuk into town was 500. Big waves so no good for swimming but great to watch. Turtle release on beach by hotel. Turtles laying eggs on beach at night. 30min walk to turtle beach to see them in shallow water. So so glad we booked suite lanka rather than go to maldives when our tour ended. It was a perfect end to our trip in beautiful Sri Lanka. Honestly a truly wonderful hotel.

Perfect location at the quieter end of Hikkaduwa but within a short walking distance or Tuk-Tuk of the the busier part of town and beach. View from room is stunning as is the beachside location. The hotel is colonial style and has an Exotic Marigold Hotel vibe that complements the whole laid back Sri Lanka experience. Lovely little pool in a central courtyard providing another intimate space away from the beach. Staff were excellent - so friendly and helpful - always smiling and so very attentive.

We are lucky to experience a stay in Suite Lanka. Beautiful rooms with terraces facing the ocean, such a cozy atmosphere. The hotel is small so you’re friends with all your neighbours and staff. There is an almost private beach and lovely restaurant. The staff is amazing. The kindest and sweetest people work there. They help you in every way they can and our special thank you goes to Krishmal for making our stay unforgettable. We miss you already. If you’re looking for a unique and wonderful stay, our honest recommendation goes to Suite Lanka.
