“Excellent stay, highly recommend”

We had a lovely stay as a family of three at this beautiful, boutique hotel. It is a short 5 minute tuk tuk from Hikkaduwa and about 30 minutes from Galle, located on a beautiful stretch of beach. We preferred the location being slightly away from the main tourist parts of Hikkaduwa and couldn't have been happier with the hotel. Lovely staff, excellent breakfast and beautiful rooms and grounds. We would highly recommend to couples or small families staying around Hikkaduwa. As there are only 6 rooms, you really feel like its having your own villa. Breakfast was included and you could get drinks all day, with a small afternoon food menu too. The staff helped organize travel as well as massages while we were there.

Sea Star Boutique Hotel - a very nice new hotel on the beach. Enjoyed my stay in the beach hotel. I had a very lovely sea facing luxurious room with a balcony. You can hear the waves from ocean which is so nice to fall asleep to. I loved having drinks on the balcony at sunset evening with great view and music. The hotel has an infinity pool and beach loungers with shade. Beach front is great and can have a morning walk jog along the sea. The staff is very professional and helpful ,the food is healthy and tasty. I look forward to visiting again with family in the future.

Beautiful comfortable room with a fantastic view. Pool lovely and the beach is stunning and quiet. Great snorkelling and there are restaurants walking distance along the beach. Can easily get a tuk tuk into Hikkaduwa which v cheap. Delicious breakfast and great coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The location and facilities was amazing. Very calm place 1,5km away from the city.

Beautiful beach, house and people. What a place to start our holiday. We know Sri Lanka has beautiful hotels but this one is hard to beat. Clean and large room with wonderful view of the sea from your large balcony. Don’t hesitate to book!

Amazing small boutique hotel right on the beach; wonderful and helpful staff, spacious rooms and really good garden&loungers area. The breakfast and lunch options were great, and overall we really enjoyed our stay.

The staff! Prasanna, only in his first month as a manager and doing an excellent job! Udara, the coolest and relaxed guy on the team. Shalika, wo prepares a delicious breakfast. And of course Suwarna, a beautiful lady wo keeps everything super clean! Everyone works together, going that extra mile to make you feel welcome. The room (first floor) is huge and has a stunning view over the ocean. The bed is comfy and big. The shower is hot and has a good pressure. The minibar gets refilled every day with cola, seven-up and water. A tip for transport. Use the Pickme app, you can directly see what the price for your tuk-tuk/taxi will be. They pick you up wherever you want. The hotel has only 6 rooms and that makes it very personal. The hotel is only 5 years old, has an Austrian owner and is build with quality!! We stayed for 6 nights and saying goodbye to this beautiful place and his team wasn't easy! A place to come back to.

Our stay at Sea Star Boutique Hotel was exceptional! The perfect start to our Sri Lanka trip! We spent four nights here and couldn’t have wished for a better experience. The hotel is beautifully designed with great attention to detail, spotless, and surrounded by a stunning beach and lush garden. It’s peaceful, relaxing, and simply beautiful. The service was outstanding! Every member of the team made us feel at home. A special thank you to Prasanna, Udara, Shalika, and Swarna for their kindness and care. We were also lucky to meet the owner, who is truly one of the nicest people we’ve ever encountered. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were beautiful and clean, and the entire atmosphere made this place unforgettable. Breakfast was excellent. Beautiful large rooms and bathrooms. Beautiful views of the beach and sunsets.

Big rooms, new furniture, very cozy and comfortable, clean, big terrace with direct access to pool, great breakfast, minibar with free drinks, very nice staff, well managed hotel.

“Beautiful little hotel close to Hikkaduwa”

The property is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and wonderfully decorated. Very cute. Bed was very comfortable. Enough sunbeds for everyone. Pool was nice and clean. Breakfast was okay. One day there was Sri Lankan breakfast which was amazing and way better than what they normally offer. There are huge gaps under the room door and between the balcony doors, which make it easy for insects, including cockroaches to enter the room.
