“Definitely recommend”
We loved how affordable it was. Breakfast included every morning. We ended up extending our stay at late notice and the staff were so helpful. They also insisted we come back when we needed to move to another property in Hikkaduwa to work from home.

“It is a pleasant hotel right on the beach. The hotel grounds are well maintained and clean apart from a few hiccups.”
My room needed to be fumigated as I had an ant infestation in the bathroom. The property itself is lovely and cosy. The hotel is right on the beach and the pool is outside your room. My AC broke down and was fixed instantly. Unfortunately the ant infestation made the stay uncomfortable.

Pearl Island beach is a great place to spend time and relax directly on the beach. I had a room with sea and pool view. The beach beds comfortable, I loved, the pool, the puffs to realx on, the super clean rooms and premises, the restaurant, best food, very friendly staff. Mr Müller and the owner ever so helpfull. This place deserves a 10 all was great. I will come again. Thank you also for letting me stay till 3 o clock and use my room and the facilities.

“Great stay, great value for money”
Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. Great location on the beach a little away from the main restaurants so was a quiet stay. Room was clean and tidy.

“Could have been better considering the price”
The location was really great. Rooms are spacious and done most conveniently with a number of plug points, a Kettle, fridge, large bathroom.

“Perfect place for relaxing”
The place is managed by two german owners. Cleaning standards is higher in this place compared to other hotels. Rooms are wide, clean and there is everything you need. It is directly on the beach, even if in that area it is not really possible to swim due to strong waves. All the staff is very friendly and supportive. Bobby, the supervisor, is amazing. Many german come to these place.

“Wonderful relaxing place to stay.”
It was fantastic. Staff were friendly and very accommodating for everything we needed. Rooms were clean and comfy beds. Great place to stay. Free sun beds direct access to the beach. Pool was lovely and clean. Breakfasts were excellent. Would stay again definitely.very local for everything.

“Peaceful stay with great service and location!”
A great location, really well run with lovely staff and facilities. The hotel is just the right distance from the hustle bustle (and noise) of central Hikkaduwa with just a 10 minute walk to the main restaurants and bars. If visiting South Sri Lanka again I will definitely stay here! To cap it all a blue whale entered the shallows just as I was checking out!!

Room comfortable and clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Nice location, directly on the seafront with lovely clean beach. The small fresh water swimming pool was also very nice.
