Very beautiful location, though a bit distant to the beach, however, easy access to Hikkaduwa by Tuk Tuk or bus. We had a nice hike to the nearby tea plant where they offered us a nice tour.

This is luxury. Far from noise & traffic, tree houses set around a swimming pool. The staff, led by manager Imhan, take care of your every need. Food was excellent. And a wine list!

“Wonderful Lodge in the midst of great nature.”

A very nice compound in the midst of rice paddies, palm trees and tee plantations. The rooms are wonderful and the tree houses are close to the hundreds of birds. It is a wonderful place to wind down and just enjoy the wonderful nature. The staff is fantastic and operation manager Imhan is always helpful and attentive.

I spent a night at Huma Terra. I live in Sri Lanka and I know well Hikkaduwa area. I don't like to stay in Hikka beach area itself as too much noise, too many people even though I like to go there for restaurants and party. Well, if you're like me, Huma Terra is definitely the place to stay. 15mns away from the main Hikkaduwa area, located in an enchanting and super relaxing paddy fields environment, very charming tree houses, excellent staff, very nice (and quickly served) breakfast and lunch (we had dinner in Hikka), infinity pool overlooking the paddy fields.... We had the tree house overlooking the pool and waking up with the sound of birds and watching the fog over the paddy fields slowly disappear is just magical. If you want a charming, relaxing, unique, well serviced place to be in a quiet and chilled environment during the day and still be able to enjoy Hikka night vibes, that's definitely the place to stay!

This lodge is a piece of paradise with wonderful treehouses placed in a mature and beautiful garden. We traveled as a family; the staff took very good care of us and prepared very tasty and healthy meals. We felt very comfortable.

If you love nature, animals and tree houses, this is the place to stay. The owners are so lovely people and made us feel at home. Very short trip to Hikkaduwa beach which is famous for turtle feeding.

it was calm and peaceful the audial input from the birds, monkeys, donkeys and the chanting of the monks in the distance made for an unforgettable experience. If you yearn for a tree house stay this is the place to stay.
