The location was very calm and quiet, surrounded by beautiful greenery, which made the stay very relaxing. The pool was great, the room was comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is beautifully located in quiet green surroundings. Away from the busy and touristy centre of Hikkaduwa this place felt like an oasis. The staff is super friendly and made us lots of delicious meals. Our little 2 year old daughter loved the pool and just walking around in the neighborhood. The hotel arranges a free tuktuk per day roundtrip to take you to the city. I would highly recommend this place if you want a genuine Sri Lankan experience

We arrived at this little pearl, tucked away from the busy Hikkaduwa, not knowing what to expect — and what a wonderful surprise it was. A true hidden gem, warmly run by Harsha, Dilanthi, and Praveen. It’s not a luxury retreat, but a beautiful “less is more” experience surrounded by genuine nature. We will definitely be coming back.

The room was so big and bed was comfortable. It’s very quiet and peaceful if that’s what you’re looking for.

Beautiful rooms and the staff were lovely and friendly. The breakfast was great too.

“A paridise in the jungle near Hikkaduwa”

The staff, they were incredible and couldn’t have done much more for our stay. The hotel was lovely and the rooms were fantastic as was the pool. The hotel is a bit far from Hikkaduwa, make sure you don’t pay more than 700LKR for a tuk tuk there and back.

Garcinia Leaf was a gem. It is a beautiful hotel, set away from the busy main streets , instead it was an oasis nestled amongst beautiful trees and greenery, yet a short trip to the beach. The rooms were large and clean and the staff were friendly ,really helpful and responsive. The food at breakfast was utterly delicious and beautifully presented. The pool was gorgeous with a jacuzzi in one corner. All in all, a great stay

“3 night stay..wish it had been longer”

We liked everything about this hotel. Very spacious room,comfortable beds hot shower. Lovely terrace. Fantastic pool set in tranquil surrounds. Exotic birds in the grounds. We ate at the hotel which offered a well priced menu and the food was very good. We were initially concerned about how far from the beach it was but its only a 599/700 SLR tuk tuk ride and these are easy to find or thevhotel can arrange. The area around the hotel is quiet and very nice to walk around. If we return we would without doubt stay here again.

We received a very warm welcome along with some fresh juice when we arrived. Our room was very comfortable, clean and well maintained, along with the fact that it got maintenance every day during our stay (while we were out and about). Our hosts were always reachable and ready to help us with anything we asked. They even helped us rent a scooter at a very reasonable price. They go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and relaxed! The location is wonderful and dreamy with nature all around and you come across little delights like the way they present the towels etc. We were very happy with our stay and would love to come back one day!

Yes loved my stay at the Garcinia except the road to the hotel was too narrow for my experience but the staffs and the food was devine exceptional!

I really liked good design of the place, you can tell that owner has a good taste and understanding about the design and art. We liked the location out of the major tourist places. Good food and nice atmosphere. Except one thing - they had USSR flag hanging there amongst other flags, we told to guys who work there to remove it, we sencirely hope they will, because that is the same as hanging Nazi symbols and flags out - forbidden and not sure why they would do so...

We lika all. Wonderfull hotel. Quiet place birds sing. Very nice design. Great pull. Very kind people. We felt like we were visiting friends.

The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We had a welcome juice and unlike other places could take card or cash. The jungle setting and location was quiet a d tranquil and I loved the surroundings. Birds, palm squirrels and the accommodation's dog added to the experience. The room was big and spacious with a back patio area to have drinks and look at the jungle. Tea and coffee and toiletries came with the room, toilet roll. Some places haven't so just thought it was worth mentioning. I loved the outdoor pool and the general outdoor area. I chilled with a book outside.
