We loved our stay at Hotel Finlanka. The staff were all very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was superb- so much choice and as much as you could eat. The location was ideal for walking to the beach, the main street, restaurants and local transport.

Lovely staff and the pool is great! Fantastic location too, only a 5 minute walk from the beach. Definitely recommend staying here

This hotel is absolutely phenomenal! I can’t thank the staff enough for all the help they provided me with. Unfortunately I was unwell when I arrived at the hotel and the staff went above and beyond to help me. I am so grateful for their kindness. They checked in on me and helped to arrange transport to a local hospital. They provided me with delicious fruits, juices and coconuts which certainly helped in my recovery. The breakfast they provided each morning is also amazing. They serve a wide range of fruits and breakfast dishes. The hotel itself is also beautiful, with a lovely pool and lots of greenery. I also felt safe the whole time I was staying here. One of my favourite parts of the hotel is their dog Coco, she is such a sweet girl who also made my stay more enjoyable. Thank you to each and every staff member at the hotel. I look forward to staying again.

The breakfast is very good, plenty of fruit and sri lanka dishes. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to stay in the hotel until 16:00 at no cost the check out day!!! I would 100% recommend it and repeat if I come back to hikkaduwa.

The owners are such lovely people. I received a very friendly welcome. The rooms were clean, the grounds are beautiful. The breakfast is very plentiful, and the overall service is some of the best I've ever experienced. The owner organized airport transportation and took care of my needs at all times. If you come to Hikkaduwa, you should stay at this hotel.

Chandima, Sanjeewa, and Lahiru are among the nicest hosts we’ve had in Sri Lanka! If you’re traveling on a budget, this place is an excellent choice—you won’t regret it. The guesthouse is centrally located, just seconds from the beach, town shops, and restaurants. We were especially impressed by the generous breakfast and the beautifully presented food. Our room exceeded expectations for the price, featuring a lovely private en-suite bathroom. Though we didn’t use the pool, we wish we had—it’s stunning, surrounded by lush green gardens that add to the charm of the property. Highly recommended!

Really friendly family, big and cosy room with nice balcony, hot shower and comfortable bed. Very good breakfast with a lot of different options. Just a few meters from the beach in a quiet area.
