“Perfect for a budget stay, friendly owners and good location”

The owners, they were so lovely. They made sure I had an incense in the room every night as it’s a big place for mosquitos - beware and bring plenty of spray! Extremely friendly and I felt welcomed straight away to what felt like their home. A good space with big lockers and even bigger bathroom so perfect amenities, they even have a fridge which was a brilliant touch!!! Location was 10/10 too.

The room is like a sauna, it gets so hot in the evening. There was only a lock on one bathroom. And there wasnt really a nice place to chill.

The owners are very friendly and helpful with any questions. I was the only guest for a view day, and every day, the owners ask me when I would like to have breakfast. The room was big so you have enough space for all your stuff

“Decent stay close to the Main surf point.”

It was very well located. It's just a 3-6 mins walk to the main surf point which has beginner, intermediate and pro breaks. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. There was parking for two wheelers too.

Perfect location

The It's close to the surfspot (main point). Just one minute and you're at the beach! The owner is very helpful, helps you out with any requests. Been here already three times and looking forward to come back again!!!

I really enjoyed the breakfast at this place. It was very kindly that my friend from the other hostel got also something. Thank you! I can also like this place because of the owners family. We shared work by hanging off our laundry. The young son wanted to play with me and the dog welcome you too :) I can definitely recommend you this accommodation!

Basic. Breakfast included Poor sleep. Trains run 30 feet From back of hostel. Stop 11pm start at 4am. If you can sleep through a minor earth quake this is a good basic hostel. Be careful owner tried to Overcharge me. Picture on add is his house not the hostel.

It's a very clean and nice hostel just few meters from the best beach of Hikkaduwa. The staff was really nice and they give you breakfast every day. I enjoyed my stay!

“Great value for money”

The hosts are very friendly and chilled out, it made the stay much more pleasant. Breakfast was decent and the vibe with the other guests was nice.

I used their laundry service, but the lady washed all clothes by hand and they were left with stains probably from poor-quality washing powder. After washing, she also raised the already agreed price for this washing. during the checkout, the gentleman tried to deceive me that the bus do not go to another city where I was heading and he would take me there with his tuk-tuk. The railway is literally right behind the house - a lot of noise, which bothers especially at night.
