Friendly and helpful staff and managers and extremely well designed accommodation. The pool was great. The breakfasts fantastic. Especially the sri lankan style, which alternated with the western breakfast. The location was a short tuk tuk drive out of Hikkaduwa which meant it was blissfully quiet at night.

“Fabulous peaceful location”

The beautiful location! The outside space is gorgeous and the pool area is beautifully kept and the swimming pool is a really good size. There is lots of wildlife to see around the property. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff at the villa were very friendly and helpful. The Sri Lanka curry we ate at the property was one of the best we have had during our stay. We stayed an extra night as we enjoyed our stay so much. The villa is about 2.5 km from the main beach but it is easy to get a tuk tuk there.

Modern spacious room and bathroom. Payment on arrival. Breakfast and dinner were served in the balcony in front of the room. We asked for Sri Lankan breakfast, which was tasty. Dinner is not mentioned in accommodations general information, but when asked they told us that they have dinner options. 10% service charge was added on the dinner bill, which might be unpredictable as it was not mentioned in the menu list and they did not tell us beforehand. Calm environment, well maintained garden, swimming pool. Friendly staff.

Lovely, well cared for property and garden. Large sized pool in lovely setting. Fantastic breakfast freshly cooked - had Sri Lankan one day and European next day. Hosts very friendly, courteous and helpful. Very clean, very spacious Bedroom with all the facilities we needed. Highly recommended.

“Fantastic relaxing stay”

Absolutely fantastic stay! The property is set next to the lake and jungle just outside of Hikkaduwa town. It is a short tuk tuk ride in costing 300/400 SLR. we spend time relaxing and watching the many colourful tropical birds flying around the pool. Extremely spacious accommodation featuring 2 rooms. There is a comfortable sofa; cooking facilities, and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was undoubtedly the best we have had at any other accommodation we have stayed at on any of our 6 trips to srilanka! Extremely welcoming and very helpful hosts too!! We will stay again and would definitely recommend it.

We had a very pleasant stay and really enjoyed our time here. The family running the accommodation is very warm and welcoming, and we felt comfortable from the beginning. The rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. The pool area is nice and well cared for, and the surrounding nature makes the location quiet and relaxing. The beaches can be reached within a 5–10 minute drive. Indika prepared tasty and varied breakfasts every morning. We originally booked for two nights but decided to extend our stay to eight nights, which says a lot about how comfortable we felt here. The price–performance ratio is very good. We also booked a 90-minute massage on site, which was the best massage we had during our Sri Lanka trip. We would recommend this place.

“Paradise”

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is superb, right next to the lake and far from the hustle and noise — a little green paradise surrounded by nature. The large swimming pool is a real highlight, perfect for relaxing. The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and always helpful. Breakfast is generous and delicious, with a great variety of options. The rooms are spacious, and the bed is extremely comfortable. We honestly couldn’t have dreamed of a better place to stay during our time in Hikkaduwa

“Great relaxing short stay with super friendly hosts”

The swimming pool was really exceptional. Large, clean and nicely warm. We enjoyed it so much. And we saw three large bats above it in the evening. The location is very peaceful, in spite of a few neighbours making building noises in the morning. The nice garden is part of nature. In the morning a few black-and-white Langur monkeys visited. The hosts were super and genuinely friendly. They built this house recently, clearly with a lot of love and they genuinely welcome you.

Wonderful accommodation in a peaceful location The place is beautifully situated by a lake, surrounded by nature – we were able to watch so many lovely birds. Perfect for unwinding while still being close to Hikkaduwa. The staff are incredibly warm and helpful, always ready to assist. The food was excellent and very tasty. Everything was spotless, and the value for money is outstanding. We felt completely comfortable and can highly recommend this accommodation!

I had a wonderful stay at this nature-friendly villa. The atmosphere is beautifully calm, with a lovely pool and impressive architecture surrounded by a spacious, green garden. The environment feels peaceful and refreshing. The breakfast was also really good and added to the overall experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax close to nature!

“Hidden gem in Hikkaduwa”

This place is so nice! We booked an extra night after 3 nights because it was so good. Room is clean and comfy. It is in a quiet spot a bit outside town but it only takes 5min to go to the beach or restaurants by tuktuk or with motorbike (that you can rent to the owner for a great price). All the people are very nice and friendly. Big warm swimming pool, in the shade in the afternoon which is great to hide from the strong sun. Great value for money, highly recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The resort is located in a very relaxing and green environment, perfect for unwinding and enjoying nature. The meals were fresh and delicious. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.

The staff made food for us at our request and hosted an amazing dinner with the best food. We loved the property it was very well maintained and the staff was helpful throughout they even arranged the travel for us and gave us a really good experience. Plus they had such cute koi fishesss…Overall I would I say that I miss not staying longer and definitely do plan on coming back to this property very soon.
