Guruge is a great host and a kind man, honestly I felt at home even though I stayed just 1 night. I loved having a chat and tea with him in the morning, the place is lush green and just good vibes.

I stayed at this hostel and had a really great experience. The place is welcoming, clean, and has a relaxed atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. A special mention goes to the owner, who is incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling, ready to assist with anything you might need. Overall, a very positive experience, I highly recommend it!

One of the best places I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka!!! Guruge makes you feel welcomed and comfortable, he cooked for me and was always making me black tea, he took me to a place where I could buy it from for home as it was so good!! The loveliest man!! The rooms were so clean and a chill place to stay especially for how cheap it is😊

Guruge is super attentive of everything. Gave me a towel, has a kitchen with everything you need, a fridge, room to do some yoga, and shared some of the fruits he grows.

Guruge is one of most beautiful and transparent host person i’ve met in Sri Lanka. He was that kind that on my first day he prepared dinner for us(Guests). The location is situated is a quiet nature environment, is very close to the beach and to the bus/railway station.

The owner is a wonderful person. He always tries to help you in any situation and gives advice on how to handle anything. Very close to the station and in a quiet area. Highly recommended

The host was very helpfull and accomadating. he maintained hygine by cleaning the washroom multiple times in a day, he also cooked srilankan cuisine on new year's day..it was delicious. He helped us finding snorkelling gear for rent. Highly recommend this place.

Quiet property, close to the beach (600m). A lot of nature present around. Mangoose, monkey, squirrel... everything to wake up with a quiet mind

One of the best dormatory i stayed in 10years travelling. Everything is SUPER clean. There is a fridge, kitchen fully equiped (tea, rice maker, pan etc) that you can use. Again, really clean. For a shared house.. amazingly surprise. The bed are super comfy. Individual locker present. The owner ? Incredibly kind and respectful. He have his heart in his hand.
