Beautiful villa with wonderful staff who went out of their way to assist us. In particular Gihan, who arranged all transportation for us to and from the villa. Highly recommend!

Our stay was for a long awaited girls weekend. From the moment we arrived Gihan and his team made us feel so welcome. The house, pool and garden were amazing and had a luxurious feel. The villa was very spacious, tastefully decorated and we enjoyed all of our delicious meals. We especially enjoyed the cinnamon scented towels. We will definitely come back.

Wonderful oasis away from the main area of Hikkaduwa. Very quiet and peaceful with a wonderful pool to swim and watch the wildlife. We loved it.

“A perfect stay”

The property is beautiful. The villa itself is huge (and very clean), the beds are so comfortable, the outside bathrooms are amazing and the grounds are very impressive but the best thing of all was Gihan! He could not do enough to ensure the stay was perfect. Gihan was always on-hand to take us anywhere we needed to go, to offer advice about what to see and do and to teach us all about Sri Lankan life. A wonderful experience!

Upon arrival we felt like we were entering the secret garden! Such a beautiful historical villa situated in a green luscious oasis where a wide array of exotic trees and plants grow in abundance. The staff is lovely, extremely thoughtful and provide everything you may possibly wish for. Upon arrival we were welcomed with fresh juices and a delicious sri lankan dinner. Every day we woke up to a deliciously fresh and varied breakfast; which was a mix of western and sri lankan dishes, with fresh ingredients from the garden. It was fantastic for us to see how all the fruits grow! The dinner was similarly delightful. We took various trips in the neighborhood where the river safari cruise was our favorite. We’d also recommend a visit to the moonstone minery and we arranged for aryuvedic massages at the villa. We’d like to thank the staff for making our stay so lovely and memorable!

Everything was exceptional, the hosts were especially really caring and professional, they made sure we were taken care of fully and did not hesitate to answer any of our questions. The food was great. Such a beautiful villa with amazing surroundings and nature.

This is one of the best places in Sri Lanka. Big nice villa with all required conditions to stay with family : air conditioners, swimming pool, perfect service of the stuff, very nice traditional breakfast and dinner. The villa owner is very polite and helpful. I definitely recommend this place to stay.

Garden Villa Ronnaduwa is simply beautiful. the villa itself is elegantly decorated with a stunning large garden for guests to use the swimming pool and also explore the various plants and trees growing. Set away from the tourist trap of Hikaduwa, the villa offers peace within nature which has provided us with the rest we needed. although I’m nature, the villa is a very short drive to the beach and local attractions. All of the staff went above and beyond, especially Gihan who went out of his way to ensure we had the best holiday ever. Gihan’s local knowledge ( about absolutely everything ) made this trip very special. he helped us book local tours and made sure that anything we needed was seen to. this was especially valued as we were traveling with a small baby. All of the rooms in the villa are stunning and we’ve had the best nights sleep in ages. the food cooked for us at the villa was also by far the best food we’ve ever had in Sri Lanka.

Gihan was there to welcome us and made everything very easy for our stay. Food, especially Sri Lankan rice and curry which we ordered in advance, was exceptional. Gihan even drove us to different locations when he was free and gave us great advice on what to see. This is a beautiful, calm location, easy to get to the beach in a car or tuk tuk and a very different, more tranquil and more refined experience than the big hotels with lots of tourists at Hikkaduwa (which remains a beautiful beach).

It was a real treat for us to stay at Garden Villa providing us with a very relaxing couple of nights before we flew home. Both the accommodation and food were first class. With only 4 rooms and big communal areas you really feel you have the place to yourself. Gihan and Raja could not have been more accommodating. If you’re happy to to be a little off the main beach area this is the place to stay!
