“Loved it, just go there !”

We loved everything about our stay at arcadia and it might be the best place we stayed at during our two weeks in Sri Lanka. First of all, we booked this hotel literally 1 hour before coming, and the staff wasn't bothered; they let us pick out our room from the ones that were free. The price is great, especially considering the two pools, the great rooms, and the overall level of service provided by the staff. The location is great, as it is close to the best snorkeling beach in Hikkaduwa while not being directly on the busy street. We picked this hotel because we read we could stay at the pool until we left for our flight later in the evening. What we got was actually even better. We were able to leave our stuff at the reception and enjoy our day in Hikkaduwa. We had time to go to the beach and stay by the pool, and they were even so kind as to put a room at our disposal to shower and charge our devices while we waited for our taxi. Overall we had an amazing time, and our only regret was that we only stayed there for our last two nights in Sri Lanka.

Great Location to the beach and local shops, there is a market and shop on the same street which is very good. The rooms were pleasant and clean. The staff were amazing, very friendly, very helpful and always on hand if we required something.

Lovely staff who want to help as much as possible. Great pool and facilties. We had a budget room but it had everything we needed.

The staff were super friendly and extremely helpful. The room itself was spacious and clean with all the amenities you would expect to find in a room of its type.

The amazing staff who were so kind and friendly. The beautiful gardens and 2 clean , luxurious swimming pools. Manager even provided us with a small fridge.

This place was one of the best we had during our stay in Srí Lanka. The swimming pools in a beautiful garden were a great refreshment during hot days. We needed to stay much longer due to a conflict in Middle East which was no problem, the personnel was very kind and really helpful.Thank you!

Where do I start? When arriving we were greeted with good energy and smiles all round. The staff can’t be faulted at all, taking care of us in any circumstance, and they make you feel the upmost comfortability! The pools are fantastic and very clean, the gardens and little water fountains are idyllic! Location is peaceful and the rooms are equally at ease! Don’t be a fool, book with confidence!

Arcadia Resort is a very atmospheric and charming place where you can truly feel the spirit of real Sri Lanka. It is located just a 4-minute walk from the railway station, which makes it very convenient and affordable to travel from Colombo and continue further along the coast. The location is a big advantage for anyone exploring the island by train. Everyone there was incredibly friendly. The guys at the reception were amazing – very helpful, kind, and always smiling. We arrived early in the morning and without any problems received our room earlier than the standard check-in time, which we really appreciated after our journey. The breakfasts were traditional local style, very tasty, and more than enough – we always ate until we were completely satisfied. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back.

Lovely peaceful oasis only 5 minutes walk from the beach and town with the added bonus of 2 swimming pools and gorgeous gardens. Hosts were amazing nothing was too much trouble even did a birthday cake for my friend. We had a room with a pool view which was great. Loved it!

Location fantastic for a very quick walk into Hikkaduwa main thoroughfare. Gate has friendly security guards. Pools x2 perfect size for a relaxing dip. Staff friendly and gardens kept very well.

Beautiful garden, clean two bedroom flat with kitchen and dining area. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Diluksha was so helpful and Danuksha too
