Lovely peaceful spot right on the lagoon in hikkaduwa. Rooms are very comfortable with home made products. The family took very good care of us with daily breakfast and making sure we had everything we needed.

The family who run it are lovely. From the moment we booked they were on hand to help. We were greeted with flowers when we arrived. The room was wonderful and the location exceptional. With just 2 villas you have your own slice of paradise. We hired the kayak and explored the lagoon in the afternoon and then again for sunrise the next day. The night was peaceful with only wildlife as our soundtrack. Breakfast the next day was excellent. Both cooked food and fresh fruit. We were gifted cinnamon tea as we left, which was a lovely touch. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to escape Hikkaduwa’s busy street bustle.

This is a gorgeous quiet small lagoon front property with two identical rooms. Our room was spotless, very comfortable bed, great products in the bathroom- even conditioner! - and classy linens and towels. The hosts couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was huge, amazing pancakes and other items cooked on site. All served on a picturesque floating deck. We also hired the kayaks and kayaked down to the left, down the channel under the railway line and road to the sea. We also kayaked around the island. We walked to the beach, had drinks in coconut club and ate at ember. Both recommended A wonderful stay, thanks.

If you want a quiet location with an amazing outlook and a 2 year old room with small kitchen, wonderful bathroom - then this is the place. You need to catch a tuk tuk several Km's into the main beaches of Hikkaduwa, but there are beaches closer. Transport is quick and easily arranged. The breakfast is enormous and lovingly prepared.

One of the nicest places we have been to, honestly! The host and his wonderful family are very kind and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We really recommend this place if you want to find your inner peace. Looking forward to coming back!

“Beyond amazing”

It's surprising to us that this place isn't always booked out because it is beyond amazing. There's only two rooms, situated on the edge of a lagoon. The rooms are beautifully decorated, well resourced and you can tell a lot of thought and effort has been put into showcasing the beauty of the property. Sumith and Nishadi are incredibly hospitable and really treat you with five star personable service. For example, the air conditioning was tripping the power and Sumith called in a tech to rectify the problem at 7pm at night. That's just a small example of their great service. Breakfast is made fresh daily and presented on a pontoon overlooking the lagoon that is teaming with wildlife such as monitor lizards and birds. The breakfast itself is worthy of it's own mentioning. They serve a feast of local delicacies made daily by Nishadi. They even provide kayaks to explore the lagoon in your own time. We recommend early morning to catch the glorious sunrise. We've stayed in places ranging from 5 star hotels to guest homes and hostels and by far this place tops them all. Do yourself a favour and stay with these guys. We cannot recommend this place enough.

I stayed here for just one night, but I honestly wish it had been longer. The resort is right by the lagoon, and the view is absolutely stunning—peaceful, calming, and perfect for unwinding. From the moment we arrived, the staff were amazing—so warm and welcoming, making sure everything was just right. The service felt personal, not just polite. The room was spotless, and you could tell they really take pride in keeping everything clean and well-maintained.

Perched on the edges of the lagoon is this little 2-roomed gem of a hotel. Recently built, the room was impeccably clean and the service - and the breakfasts - exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble for our lovely hosts, who welcomed us with a drink and cool hand towels, and kept fragrant incense burning on your patio. We had free use of the kayaks, and enjoyed exploring a lagoon that was teeming with wildlife. If you want a quiet, peaceful stay with wonderful views on the lagoon, we can not recommend this spot more highly.

Beautiful lagoon right in front of the room. It is a completely newly built homestay. Very comfortable and clean. All amenities are provided in the room. Elaborate breakfast served in front of the lagoon. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were specially treated as we are the first Indian guests there. However, it is little inside the road. House owners have to carry our luggage, and the road approaching the property should be tarred to have easy access. Hikkaduwa beach is a little far, but tuktuk can be arranged easily.

Our stay here was truly something special and a memory we’ll treasure for a very long time. Firstly, the location of this hidden gem, away from the hustle and bustle of Hikkaduwa was a welcome relief, an extremely relaxing environment . Then there’s the property itself which is extremely well maintained and beautiful . And lastly there’s Sumith, the owner of the property, a one of a kind. I mentioned to him in passing that the waves had washed away my sunglasses while on the beach. The morning of our departure ( we only stayed for two nights ! ) Sumith gifted me a new pair, who does that ? I couldn’t believe it. Then there is his brother who stays on the grounds of the property all night just in case you may need something . I really hope to come back here one day to find Sumith and his lovely family going from strength to strength , he deserves it

Super hospitable and sweet host couple. Very accommodating and helpful. Nice quiet place away from all the traffic and noise. A very intimate small hotel with only 2 rooms. Clean large rooms. Good breakfast with a view over the lagoon where you can enjoy the sunrise if you get up early.

There are only 2 rooms so it's ultra peaceful. There is a lovely floating area attached for breakfast and to chill out. It's a little off the beaten track but the owner has his brother on hand for any tuk tuk needed with 10 mins notice. It is 10 mins tuk tuk from the centre of hikkaduwa. Just bliss Water monitors swim in the water and there is a troupe of monkeys in the distance
