“I had a wonderfully cocooned stay”
Everything is elegant and well cared for, the staff is super attentive and friendly. The room was lovely and the bedding set up while dining was very comfortable, special pillows available. The Japanese breakfast and the Japanese Kaiseki dinner were excellent and varied day to day. Then there are all the extra treats during the day: after the bath, afternoon pancakes and drinks and before bed time sweets. The baths have a view from the sea from up higher and it was fun to have early day and night baths, very relaxing. The Spa treatments were excellent.

The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and patient. One of the front desk employees spoke fluent English, making communication seamless. For those less proficient in English, translation apps were readily used. The private hot spring was not located within the main building and required a short car ride to access. It was beautifully situated with a view of the sea. The food offerings were plentiful, and I was provided with a lunch box every day. Overall, it was a delightful stay, though the location was a bit inconvenient as it was only accessible by car, with no pedestrian paths available due to the expressway right outside.

Exceptional service and so many little extras that made us feel wonderfully taken care of, including the very friendly and helpful explanations given in English by Anne. The onsen was absolutely beautiful (especially upper floor) and the food was great (particularly the teppanyaki prepared by Chef Ooishi). Overall excellent value for such a great experience.
