Overview
Boasting luxurious outdoor hot spring baths, Inatori Tokai Hotel Yuen provides spacious Japanese-style guest rooms overlooking the ocean. It is a 15-minute walk from Izu-inatori Station, and free pick-up shuttles are available with an advance reservation. Fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and traditional futon bedding, each room comes with a comfortable seating area with chairs beside large windows looking out to the sea. Facilities like flat-screen TV and fridge are provided. Some rooms feature a private open-air bath. While staying at Yuen Hotel, guests can unwind with aromatic massage treatments, or enjoy arcade games at the on-site game corner. Souvenirs can be purchased at the gift shop, while lobby lounge and terrace provide perfect spots to sit down and take in the gorgeous ocean views. Kozuhama Beach is a 10-minute train ride away, and Atagawa Beach is a 15-minute train ride from the property. Shimoda Aquarium is within a 30-minute drive. Traditional Japanese multi-course dinner featuring fresh seafood is served on site. Japanese breakfast is also offered.

The dinner and breakfast were exceptionally good. Booked with half board. The view of the sea and sunrise was breathtaking. Booked with in room onsen, and the outdoor onsen on the 5th floor had a very good view as well of the sea. There were other additional free stuff, drinks and beer till 9pm, popsicle and a taste of the natural spring water. Plus the hotel was able to cater for food allergies.

“Luxury hotel experience with stunning ocean views!”
- We got a free room upgrade to the Harumi Executive Twin Room with an open air bath on the balcony (doesn't seem to be on Booking.com though) - This room was super spacious and beautifully furnished, very modern but still had traditional aspects - Stunning ocean front view - this was particularly great when using the private bath - Located in a small seaside town so it was very relaxing to travel around (definitely need a car though) - Beds were super comfortable - Staff were very accommodating and friendly - Toilet was separate to the shower room which we personally prefer - Breakfast and kaiseki dinner was great and very extensive (heavy on the seafood but it was to be expected considering the location) - Hotel had free parking onsite - Coin laundry and dryer available onsite (only 1 each but we didn't have to wait)

“Great experience!”
The hotel was definitely the best experience of my trip to Ito! We stayed on the 8th floor, and the room was huge with a sea view that exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was amazing; we stayed for two nights and were served different food each day. Highly recommend, and would love to come back again！

Spacious clean room with sea view and a private outdoor hot tub - pity about the bad weather. Staff very helpful - free shuttle bus services which I didn't reserve in advance and they helped me call to enquire about strawberry picking. Meals were crazy sumptuous.

Staff were amazingly hospitable, the private onsen attached to our room was beautiful with an amazing ocean view. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who wishes to see what a quiet Japanese town is like bby the seaside while still getting an amazing luxury experience.

“Loved the traditional vibe of the hotel.”
The hotel is located in a quiet area right above the beachfront. We loved the ocean view from our room, and the sounds of the ocean at night. We were also lucky to see the fireworks show someone decided to throw in the moonlit ocean during our first night of stay. The room had air conditioning and all the amenities we needed. We didnt't order breakfast during our 4 days of stay, so nothing to be said here. The onsen areas were very comfortable and spacious. Great private bath on the rooftop as well. We also loved the town of Inatori.

“A very good Onsen hotel to stay a couple days”
Dinner and breakfast portion was more than satisfaction. Very good onsen with outdoor ocean view where you could enjoy the beautiful sunset on the right side mountains. Staff would help to park your car at the hotel's private carpark just outside the hotel so that it's quite convenient. They also helped to bring our luggage into the room and offered us the welcome tea at the lobby. I guessed that they had done some sanitizing/sterilizing of the suitcases before placing it into the room while we were enjoying the tea after the check in formalities. I stayed 2 nights and enjoyed 2 different styles of KimMeTai (金目鯛- a very famous category of fish at Ito sea) cooking. The sashimi was very fresh and delicious too.
