Offering a garden and quiet street view, Hamayuu is set in Higashiizu, 39 km from Shuzen-ji Temple and 41 km from Shuzenji Niji no Sato. Offering free private parking, the 2-star ryokan is 1.2 km from Atagawa You Yu Beach. The ryokan has family rooms. “Superb traditional Japanese home style stay”
Owners were fantastic, really trying their utmost to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Rooms were traditional japanese ryuken style and were exceptionally clean. The onsite onsen was also exactly what was needed after a long day of exploring and relaxed you fully before bed. Owners take cash payment so remember to bring some along - otherwise there is a 7eleven about 6-7min walk away. Location was brilliant for me, around 15min away from kwazu and around 25min away from shirahama beach. It is also on the coast and you are practically on the beach front. There is also a vending machine out the front for all your beverage concerns.

“Small town charm, traditional vibes. A great stay if that’s what you’re looking for.”
Homey feel with traditional vibes, you can book the baths and have a good soak. Staff were extremely accommodating and very friendly. Good if you want to get away from the bustle of the city.
