Overview
Located a 15-minute walk from Izuinatori Station, Hamanoyu offers traditional "Nakai" personal attendant service, hot spring baths, massage and karaoke facilities. A Japanese kaiseki multi-course dinner is served for dinner featuring local ingredients including fresh fish. Guests can enjoy Japanese dishes in-room on tatami flooring. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. Certain rooms include a seating area to relax in after a busy day. A terrace or balcony are featured in certain rooms. Each room is fitted with a private bathroom fitted with a bath and shower. You will find a 24-hour front desk at the property. You can play table tennis at the ryokan.

“Need to self drive else location is pretty inconvenient”
Amazing food and staff. Onsen was clean and good too. Half board dining were amazing but be prepared to sit there for 2.5 hours for dinner serving and 1 hour for breakfast But the staff was really very good

The meals were exceptional, you definitely stay here for the impressive spread at dinner and even at breakfast. Meals were also served in your room, a staff member will come set up the futons after dinner and put them away before breakfast. I would recommend checking out both sides of the public outdoor baths (the baths rotates), the views! The service was notably attentive and as expected from traditional ryokans.

Very convenient location with provided shuttle and phenomenal service and food provided by 優 She was very professional friendly during dinner and breakfast services, made us feel like we were at home. She left a lovely message for us which made us feel very moved

“Amazing view.”
Hot spring bath on our verandah was lovely. Stunning view from our very large room. And free drinks in the lobby every afternoon and at dinner were an added bonus. Buffet dinner and breakfast were nice.

“Extremely value for money”
The service was excellent, room was very clean. Ocean view from the room was extremely amazing. Dinner and breakfast service in the room was extremely good and big in portion. There's always at least 1 staff member in the hotel who is fluent in English. The public and private onsens were extremely clean and good. There are 2 public onsen separately by gender, and that swap at 4am each day. Hence one night stay is enough to experience both onsen. Overall, this is extremely value for money despite the high cost.

Best of the best, the food and service are awesome, and the hot spring has great view facing the ocean. Staff from hotel are all friendly, the shuttle bus service to train station is sweet! Wanna especially express gratitude to Mr. Endou (遠藤) who helped a lot in dinner and breakfast!
