Absolutely loved this place. Such a lovely surprise discovery, hidden in the middle of nature, super cozy, peaceful, and full of old-style charm. One of those places that feels much more special than expected. Would definitely stay again.

Het Domherenhuis is located at a very quite place in Heusden-Zolder. There is a lot of green around the charming manor. The staff is delightful and always offered to help. Breakfast is delicious and served at your table. Everything is very clean.

We felt totally comfortable in the historic restored building with great attention to details. The breakfast was incredibly lovingly prepared and presented a pleasure. Although we late for our check-in, Jan was waiting for us.Friendly and accomodating guy.

Very nice place only stayed for one night so overall experience was good but i must say they do not have a private parking as advertised hence the low stars.

Jan welcomed us in a friendly and helpful manner. The property was described on the website as it is in reality, only BETTER than expected ! Lovingly restored antiques are meshed with modern conveniences. Our room overlooked a peaceful park containing pathways between beautiful and huge trees. The bed was comfortable and we had all the modern amenities also available. The breakfast was a private buffet on our table! Fresh rolls and bread, a selection of meats and cheeses, yogurt, waffles, boiled eggs, condiments, fresh fruit, orange juice and coffee in an heirloom silver pot!
