“Comfortable stay, great location and enough space.”
Recently stayed at Hestra Guesthouse for 2 nights while we visited the Isaberg ski slopes. It is just a 5 min drive up to the ski slopes at Isaberg. We had a comfortable stay. We chose a room which had two bedrooms, a shower and a toilet. Common kitchen and dining areas were very clean with all required utensils and pots including dishwasher. There wasn't anyone at the reception but the instructions for check-in and check-out were very clear. There is a TV in the main dining hall and there were many board games to choose from.

“Not quite what I was expecting”
I wanted a twin or a double and instead we ended up with a room with two bunk beds. We had expected something resembling a hotel room. Nobody was staffing the reception but a key was left in an envelope. This looked more like a youth hostel with bunk beds and a plastic floor. I never had to bring my own sheets to a hotel or wash the plastic floors before I left.

“Great balue for money and close to the resort.”
The property is very close to the mountain resort. It has complete amenities as well, and the kitchen is big. We had a quadruple room which was perfect for all 3 of us.

“Good location and value for money”
The guesthouse is right in front of the train station and it is possible to reach the ski slopes in 20 minutes by walking. We didn't have a car and it all worked perfectly well for us. The kitchen is good enough, although some equipment is missing.

The bedroom was dirty and extremely dusty. It was quite extreme and both my sons were up coughing at night, we are not sensitive people. Under the beds was a thick layer of dirt and dust

“Really nice stay”
we had a room with shower, lots of warm water nice pressure. clean pillow and duvet, good beds, clean room. Close to isaberg ski. quiet room. Place to put your ski boots and skies in a warm room.

“Quiet place, close to the Isaberg mountain resort”
Distance to the Isaberg mountain resort. Nice walking distance to the lake and nearby forest. The guest house has two kitchens so it's really convenient. Plates, forks, etc, are at the location, so no need to bring your own.
