The hosts are very friendly, and the room is clean and nice. The yard can accommodate several cars, and there's a clothesline for drying clothes. The house is located in the central area of Exuma Island, making it very convenient to reach supermarkets, beaches, and the government dock for boat trips, all just a few minutes' drive away. There is a short stretch of about 30 meters of bumpy dirt road leading to the house from the main road, but the accommodation fee is very reasonable, offering great value for money. Additionally, the male host is a diving photographer, and the underwater photos he takes are beautiful and unique. He also recommended a lesser-known shipwreck free diving spot nearby, which has starfish and various small fish, exceeding my expectations. As a noodle lover, I enjoyed having hot noodles for breakfast every day, and the hosts kindly prepared hot water, bowls, and cups for us, showing great thoughtfulness and attention to detail. I look forward to staying in this cozy home again.

The owners, Beatrice and Mark, are absolutely amazing hosts, super responsive and always willing to help (if needed). They are living in the same building where the guest rooms are. The spacious room was very clean and cozy, the beach and a smaller supermarket are in walking distance. I would definitely recommend staying at Turtles Nest!

Mark, Beatriz and Sasha makes you feel home. They will help you with anything you need, including renting a car and general info about the island. Free coffee, tea and water. Room is great and comfortable. They will borrow masks and fins if you need them. Please be nice with Sasha, she’s a lovely dog and I miss her!!! She is actually the owner of Turtles Nest… hehehe Thanks for everything Sasha, Mark and Beatriz!!!

“Great stay”

We had a wonderful stay. We had the one bedroom apartment and it was really spatious. We liked it is very well isolated with nets so no insects or other visitors. It is a quiet and relaxing area. The kitchen well equiped, the bed and pillows comfortable. The hosts are such nice people and easy to talk to. Mark was responsive and helpful whenever we needed something. Sasha their dog is friendly and nice to have her around. Supermarkets are about 15 min walk. The nearest beach is hoopers bay beach, arguably one of the nicest, is about 15 walk. Though you do need a car to get all over the island.

Beatrice, Mark & Sasha were the best hosts you could wish for! We had such a perfect time out on Exuma, mostly thanks to our very helpful hosts and their help, tips & insights on the island. My friend was able to have an awesome experience snorkeling and we even could use the renting car opportunity for several days to explore the island. Everyone was very welcoming and we felt homey during our 8 day stay at turtles nest!

Pretty central. Car is still a must on the Island. 1km to the grocery story. Owner was helpful and friendly and wanted us to have a good stay. Also arranged with taxi to and from airport.

Turtle Nest is a very nice option to spend one week in Exuma. Our apartment (the Starfish apartment) was big, fully equipped with towels, beach towels and kitchen utensils. The apartment had both fans and AC. There is also a nice set of poufs and table just next to the apartment entrance. The apartment in 15 min driving to the airport and 10 to the main town. It is also in the center of the island, so you can reach all the beaches very conveniently. However, our stay was special thanks to the super kind and friendly hosts, Mark and Beatrice, and their lovely dog, Sasha. Every morning we were chatting with them when drinking our coffees. They gave us many tips about the island and we even went snorkeling with Mark. He knows where to find animals and fishes, their habits and has taken amazing photos of them! In summary, if you want to spend time in Exuma for a very good price, this is the place to stay!

Everything was perfect: the apartment has everything you need, it Is located 5 mins from the turtle beach and it’s a strategic point to visit both the south and the north of the island. The owners are fantastic and very kind persons, always available to give you suggestions and help when you need. I totally suggest this structure to everyone who wants to visit Exuma.

everthing was perfect. Our studio was very clean, beatrice and marc are super friendly and helped us out wherever they could and gave us many tips for a great stay in exuma. We even had free drinking water in the room, as well as beach toweles which was super convinient. Sascha, their dog, was super cute :)
