Beautiful location. Amazing views. Owner kindly left us some gifts and brought a bunch of bananas from his field outside the house. Easy to walk up the steps to the main road where there’s a grocer and a handful of bars and restaurants in walking distance.

“Wonderful house in a tranquil setting”

We stayed for 5 days and absolutely loved everything about this place. The house is a beautifully renovated traditional house, peaceful and incredibly well equipped - you can really feel that the hosts put a lot of care and attention into every detail. Everything you might need during your stay is provided, which made us feel at home right away. There was also a lot of helpful information about the island, nature and things to explore, which made it even more special. The location is tranquil with stunning views, perfect for relaxing while still being a great base to discover the island. The host was amazing, very welcoming and thoughtful. We couldn’t recommend this place more and would definitely love to come back.

The house and the area are very authentically Gomeran located in the spectacular valley of Hermigua about 20mins walk to the sea but with views of the gorge and local bars, shops and restaurants all in easy driving or active walking distance. That said, it's peaceful and green with a lovely small private garden and good facilities. There is lots of local information and beautiful books about Gomera and for us being so near the tranquil banana grove was a plus. The hosts were superhelpful and on hand without being ever present. The welcome gifts were an unexpected treat too!

If you are looking for tranquility, being close to nature and staying in a traditional house - this place is the match. We absolutely loved everything about it. The hosts are extremely friendly and fruits from their garden were the best we had in the Canary Islands. The views from the apartment are great, you are surrounded by banana plantations and Hermigua is lovely. We absolutely recommend it.

Great value for the money. The property was exceptional. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Location is fantastic- 20 minutes drive to Garajonay National Park, 10 minutes walk to the beach and 20 to 30 minutes drive to Agulo/ Vallehermoso/ San Sebastian. The area itself is beautiful with mountain view and very peaceful. Carlos, the owner was amazing and attentive. We were very happy and much appreciated being welcomed by him. Thank you Carlos, for the bottle of wine and fruits upon our arrival. Highly recommended!

Literaly,we liked everything in the place. It was the best place we ever stayed. It is an old stone house with almost 1 meter thick walls, realyy realy authentic. Everything in the house is perfect, and exceptionaly clean. Even the chandeliers are authentic. The place has two gardens, one in front of the house, which is a small banana plantage. The other garden is behind the house and is perfect for relaxing. The owner left us a welcoming gift, fresh fruits (bananas, papaya, mango and one i don't know the name but we loved everything). Thank you for everything and we recomend the place with all our heart.

Very well finished house. Surprisingly spacious. Plenty of outside space. Lots of books and info regarding La Gomera. Well equipped kitchen with some very thoughtful extras; great coffee, fruit, olive oil and a bottle of wine.

Our expectations were exceeded from all aspects! Extremely friendly hosts. Kitchen is very well equipped - you have everything for a comfortable stay, including oil, salt, sugar, tee bags, bottled water, coffee machine with pads, dish liquid, towels, washcloths, trash bags, etc. etc., really everything! We were met with welcome fruits and wine, and during our stay got some more fresh fruits. Large bathroom with spacious shower. We traveled with a 2,5 year-old child - so we got everything we needed - a cot, potty, high-chair and a safety fence for stairs. The house is located amidst banana plantation and it is quiet. The furniture is of high-quality and made of real wood or leather. We had a washing machine with detergent provided. The banana-garden had table and chairs, so we could eat outside; there were also sun loungers in the patio. Several nice restaurants, cafes and supermarkets in the walking distance (you need to climb up a little).

Carlos is a perfect host, kind, generous and responsive, and he offers you the perfect house. The location is magical, nestled in a banana plantation. It is tastefully decorated. There is everything you may need , Carlos really understands what guests are looking for and the result is beyond expectation We had an exceptional time here and can't wait to return.

A lovely 2 bedroom house with great bathrooms and a comfy sofa. Kitchen well equipped. Good showers. Good lighting. Quality furniture, good TV.

Absolutely blown away by the hospitality Carlos and Clara offered. They went above and beyond. A bottle of wine and fresh fruit as a welcome. Pickup from our previous stay and drop off at the port (as we didn't have a car). Their place is very homely. We cannot thank you enough for making our stay so enjoyable. The house is located less than 10 minute walk from the main road/city centre. Easily accessible by bus (we did not have a car) and all details were provided by Carlos the owner (bus timetable, taxi booked upon bus arrival...) Great communication at all times. Some very nice little touches with a bottle of wine as a welcome gift, coffee capsules for the morning. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bathroom was spacious and the mattress/pillows really comfortable. Nice location, within 10 minutes from various walking trails. Stunning scenery!
