Lovely location, just around the corner was the beach. Great for a walk, and Great for our 2 dog's. Absolutely fantastic for a night stay over for the ferry.

My partner and I arrived, but unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing. The receptionist treated us very rudely from the beginning. They became upset when we could not fully understand the language, made inappropriate and discriminatory remarks about our appearance, and were unhelpful and irritated when we asked about parking. We also felt uncomfortable when speaking in our own language, as it seemed to annoy the staff. Additionally, the room had a very unpleasant smell. Due to these issues, we decided to leave immediately. We did not use the room at all — we did not touch anything or stay overnight. This situation was very upsetting. Therefore, I kindly request a full refund. I look forward to your prompt response.

Polite and very helpful man on reception. A bit dated, basic room but everywhere very clean Location to ferry port and beaches nearby. No thrills hotel, excellent value for money.

We had a lovely stay at this small, charming hotel, perfectly located for exploring the area. The host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast each morning was wonderful, with plenty of delicious options, and the hotel offered excellent value for money. The bed was exceptionally comfortable — I slept so well every night, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

Very convenient for ferry to Portsmouth. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly and the room was exceptionally clean and a heater was provided, thankfully as it was needed as the central heating was not on and the whole hotel felt cold. Free Parking was available at the front of the hotel. Didn't experience breakfast as ferry was early.

Picked this hotel for the name - being Canadian & all☺️. It was exactly what we expected for the price we paid. The standout was the host. We were leaving at 0700 and he made sure we had breakfast before we left.
