Overview
Strandhotel Ostseeblick is a family-run, superior hotel on the Baltic Sea island of Usedom, just steps from a sandy beach. It features spacious rooms, a 1,000 m² spa and the award-winning Bernstein restaurant. Guests have free use of the MEERness Spa. This includes a panoramic indoor pool, different saunas, an outdoor terrace and a gym. There are also many quiet areas with sea views, and massages and beauty treatments can be booked. The pool and sauna area was closed and they didn't add that information anywhere so when I booked it, I booked and accepted the high price because it had a spa. The fact that it was closed and that that was a really unwelcomed surprise didn't seem to bother the staff. I had paid, they got the money so no problem if the guest is unhappy. They do offer an alternative but you have to leave the hotel and cross the street and that place is neither cosy nor classy. I wouldn't go back.
