The apartment itself was beautiful and well-equipped, and the location was absolutely perfect, offering stunning views from two French balconies — truly a highlight of our stay. We also enjoyed the shaded terrace, which remained pleasantly cool during the day, while still offering lovely evening sunshine. The host was exceptionally helpful and responsive. She replied immediately to our messages when we asked for recommendations for boat trips, and her suggestions were very useful. Before our arrival, she was very flexible with our schedule, as we arrived very late at night, and since she was not available at that time, she kindly arranged for a neighbor to hand over the keys. She also organized a taxi transfer for us from Dubrovnik Airport (Croatia) to Herceg Novi (Montenegro), including the border crossing, which made our late-night arrival smooth and stress-free. Additionally, she arranged a return taxi for our departure and even recommended that we spend some extra time in the charming Croatian town of Cavtat, which turned out to be a wonderful suggestion. Overall, she was an invaluable part of making our trip so successful and enjoyable.

This place was absolutely amazing! The view was just insane — we couldn’t get enough of it. We especially loved the shaded terrace, perfect for relaxing at any time of day. The apartment itself is really spacious, with two separate bedrooms, which was super convenient. The living room was one of our favorite spots — the armchairs were so comfy and the furniture overall had a lot of character. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a dishwasher and a great coffee machine. We also really appreciated all the little decorative details throughout the apartment — there were so many cute figurines, and the lizard ones were definitely our favorite! The garden surrounding the house was lush and beautiful — it really added to the charm of the place. The location is perfect too, just a few steps from Kanli Kula. Even though the main road is nearby, it was absolutely quiet — we didn’t hear any traffic at all. And last but not least, the host was incredibly sweet and welcoming. We’d love to come back!

We have just stayed 8 days in this apartment. The host, Gabriele, was very quick to respond to any questions and very accommodating. The apartment was well equipped and very clean. A home from home with everything you need. The view out to the sea was just outstanding from the living room. Great location and a short distance to the old town. There are though a LOT of steps - but even with my mobility issues, I managed (taxis are 2.60€) so I’d walk to the beach and get a taxi back to Kanli Kula and walk the short distance down hill. Perfect location and perfect host. Would definitely recommend staying there - you won’t be disappointed!

Wonderful place with super location in a tiny part of old city. The apartment is very clean and decorated with interesting small accessories. It's equipped with all necessary items for a comfortable living. If you prefer cooking you'll find everything you need. And the picturesque view from the living-room will remain in my mind for a long time. Many thanks to Gabriella for a remarkable stay! It's obvious that the hosts have tried and succeeded in investing a piece of their souls to this apartment.

Nice, bright and clean apartment in the old town, with a great view over the bay/town/sea. Terrace with a nice shade. Mosquito nets on the bedroom windows. It is far from a sterile vacation apartment, it has everything you need for a "normal life", washing machine and drying rack, cooking devices, microwave etc, (even things you might have forgotten to buy like salt/sugar/dishwashing soap/shampoo) and the owner has put a lot of effort in decorating the flat for it to be cosy. Two bedrooms. Nice and helpful owners who did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. Herceg Novi has a lot of stone stairs, which I like, and there are stairs to climb to reach this flat, so just be aware of that if you have any mobility issues. It was just a short walk down thro the old town to get to the beach and the beach promenade. If you are arriving by bus from the Kamenari ferry, jump off at Dubrava bus stop, cross the road (there is also a pedestrian tunnel under the road) and walk down the stairs next to the Kanli Kula fortress.

Well equipped and very comfortable. The view from the veranda and balcony were beautiful. It’s in a very quiet location but literally half a minute from from the town which has just about everything you need, eg supermarket, pharmacy, and another chemist type like Boots. Very short walk to the sea, 10 minutes if that. Darko & Gabrielle are lovely and only a phone/text away should you need them. We loved our stay.
