Excellent, helpful, friendly host. Superb pool and apartment.

“Amazingly”

Mato is an amazing host, friendly and very helpful. The place is super clean with a stunning view. The apartment was fully equipped and we didn’t miss anything during our stay, traveling with to children and to pensioners. The only drawback is the road up to the apartment that is very stiff, but take a taxi and be impressed by the local driving skills on the local roads!

“We never felt we are in rental - it was more like home”

Two Bedroom apartment was very large with excellent layout. It is secluded on oversized lot with nice barbecue area. I can't really compare to other rental units we have been in the area - it is class above. Property is very well maintained. We have not tried pool as we prefer beach. View from apartment is excellent as it is high in the Old town area. Owner is prompt to answer phone and any questions we had about the area and beaches.

“Kind host, Nice pool, clean and comfortable rooms and free fresh figs!”

The host is very friendly and he gave us some super fresh figs. The rooms are super clean and are provided with everything you need. Our rental car (Toyota Yaris) could reach the accomodation and when we first couldn't the host offered to get the car for us on the hill. It is a quiet, clean stay and the pool is lovely.

“Beautiful location and great host.”

Mato was a fantastic host, nothing was too much for him. The appartment was clean and spacious and fully equipped. We had the ground floor appartment with the balcony which gave a stunning place to sit out an admire the view. The pool was beautiful and very welcome as it was hot, hot, hot during our stay. Herceg Novi is a fantastic base from which to see both Montenegro and Croatia. The Old Town is at the base of the hill from the appartment and has pretty alleys and squares. There is also a ruined fort to explore about 50m from the appartment. All of Kotor Bay is easily acceaible by car or boat from HN). All in all a great place that I would 100% recommend.

This was a nice place, with a nice pool, clean, friendly owners. However, the place is literally sitting at the top of the hill which grants a good view of the bay, but it is difficult to get to, either walking up 200 steps or taking a taxi. I would recommend it for people that like to hike. If you have small kids and it will be tough to get them up to the hotel and down to the beach. My kid was too scared to take a cab, because the roads are tiny and at literally inclines of 40 degrees. The saving grace was the pool - this gives you the option of spending time by the pool in the morning and then going to the beach in the afternoon.

“Peaceful Oasis of Calm”

The host Mato is a wonderful and kind older gentleman who did everything to help and made my family very welcome, the GPS got a bit confused when we were trying to arrive on the first night, one quick call later and we were following our host in his car. Mato also drove me to a supermarket that night for some supplies, Appartment is spotlessly clean, large with a wonderful view and access to a lovely pool, 20 min walk down to old city and taxi less than €5 back if your not energetic. I would advise ringing Mato before arriving for directions as he is very knowledge and helpful. Hopefully will visit again in the future.
