Perfect getaway!!! This place is a true gem in Herbert. It may be a tiny house, but it has everything you need for a peaceful and relaxing stay!

Lovely hut design - very comfortable and considerably less expensive than other options around Oamaru. Lovely all-day hike in mostly indigenous forest. Maxine was a delightful hostess.

This accommodation is absolutely fantastic! The surroundings are lovely with plenty of trees outside; waking up to the gurgling stream and lush greenery, plus the little balcony, is so soothing and relaxing. The cottage itself is very modern and I love it so much. The hosts are incredibly kind—they even came to pick me up personally since I arrived late and got lost, which really put them to trouble, and I’m truly grateful. I highly recommend everyone to come and experience this cottage, and I’ve already recommended it to my friends too.

The location was lovely and we could hear the water flow from the tiny home. The surrounding area was very quiet. The water in the river was crystal clear and we were able to cross it for a short stroll.
