“Exceptional hotel, great staff, room too cold”
The location in the mountains is great. The staff are very friendly. Good vegetarian option for diner and breakfast. Very unique atmosphere.

“A good choice”

It is the highest hotel in Taiwan! The compound was very huge! Staffs were extremely friendly too! Dinner and breakfast was ok but don’t put high expectations.

Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with everything you could need. The bedroom balcony provided beautiful views over the town and across the valley. Restaurant food was good. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

“Gorgeous architecture with dated interior”
The building itself consists of 3 blocks – one for check in, one for rooms, one for restaurant. The architecture is historic (great if you want to know more about the area and CKS), and located in a scenic mountain area. Includes good dinner and decent breakfast.

“Stay in the cool mountains above Taiwan in the summer in a historical Guesthouse”
Iconic Chiang-Kai-Shek style Hotel at one of the most beautiful locations up the mountains of Taiwan - wilth a great view over the mountain-range, and even reachable by public transport with bus-stop direct in front of the place (only few connections per day) to Yilan, Puli or Hualien. Special serene feeling worth a tour and stay - for a hike, retreat or taste the local fruits (apples, peaches....)

Located at the town entry, Lishan Guest House is a great place for a stay on this remote town in the mountains. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable, the staff was always ready to help, lovely stay :)

It is definitely a unique experience staying here, as it was built as a retreat for Chiang Kai Shek and includes a small museum. The location is great for visiting national parks (by car or bike).

The hotel is in a great location, really nicely situated close to good views of the mountains, restaurants and the bus stop. The room was large and clean, and the buffet breakfast had good variety.
