“Great short stay”
We stayed at The Amalfi as a short one day stay. We were looking for an alternative accommodation to a cheap motel. What we got was a beautiful updated clean room. It was cosy, although a little on the small side, but considering the price it looked much nicer than your average motel. The bed was comfortable and the linen was clean, the bathroom looked updated and also clean. Only thing missing for us was a small bar fridge and a kettle in the room; as I like to have a tea before going to bed without having to leave the room. The communal area was elegant and warm, although a little dark (but I assume that was the ambiance they were going for). Personally not somewhere I would stay for longer than 2 days as the room was quite small and I can get rather claustrophobic (although you could use the communal areas if you don't want to stay in your room), but definitely a great choice for a quick stay.

“Comfortable rooms and very good location too at a reasonable price.”
The Amalfi is a renovated older building but was very comfortable and warm with good shower and bed . It has a club like feel in the dark tartan carpet throughout and leather armchairs in the sitting areas. The Modigliani prints of various figures added a touch of charm. Having the reception across the road in the Bellinzona meant the Amalf felt removed a bit and quiet but that didn’t bother us at all.

“Beautiful stay - very relaxing and clean rooms!”
Very comfy bed - the staff were beautiful! & The Virgin restaurant across the road was delicious. Always love the staff there.
