Overview
Situated just 2 minutes’ walk from Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve, this Edwardian-style guest house features a tennis court, landscaped gardens and a games room with billiards table. Mooltan House offers a choice between studio apartments with a Japanese-style bath and modern kitchen facilities, or double rooms with shared bathroom facilities. All rooms on the top floor open on to a wide verandah. Guests have access to 2 shared lounge areas with wood fires plus a separate sunroom overlooking the Mineral Springs Reserve. The guest kitchen includes cooking facilities and a refrigerator. Hepburn Springs Golf Course is a 2-minute drive from Mooltan Guest House. The old Daylesford Railway Station, with train rides and Sunday Market, is 5 minutes’ drive away.

“Disappointing”
I appreciated that the host accepted our cat. The Heritage House is wonderful, a step back in time, featuring beautiful stained glass windows, history, and a bedroom with views that open up to the trees. The covered parking was convenient.

Mooltan house is a faded Gem. The Beds are comfy & the heaters work well. It's in a really good location if you are visiting the nearby bathhouse.

Location was great. Owners were friendly and obliging. Provided extra tea bags and chux on request. Heating in the unit was quite good. Plenty of milk in fridge. Bath towels large. Free parking spot. Seeing a kangaroo from the window!
