Great views from the deck and dining area...looking over the treetops and watching the weather unroll. It was great having a secure fenced area for my two little dogs who enjoyed exploring the lovely garden. Plenty of towels and the spa bath was great. Close to walks and the mineral springs.

Really spacious for a 1 bedroom property & I love a real log fireplace. The kitchen was really well equipped & the outdoor spaces were really nice and perfect for a small pooch!

“Relaxing and quiet”

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Locarno cottage The cottage was clean comfortable, the lounge area was the perfect size to 2 adults and a dog and it was great having a extra large tv and streaming services. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with a full size fridge, oven, microwave cooking utensils and a small dishwasher. The bed was comfy, with electric blankets and heating in the room and the bathroom was a great soze with spa bath to relax in. There were multiple outdoor spaces to relax, great spaces for our dog and a doggy door for her to take herself outside whenever she wanted to. The area was quiet and although closed when we were there, there is a brewery across the road with meals, Hepburn township is close by and Daylesford a short drive away We would definitely recommend Locarno cottage do anyone wanting a quiet relaxing getaway or as a base for exploring Daylesford and Hepburn area

A gorgeous cottage with beautiful treetop views of Hepburn Spring. Check in was easy and the cottage had everything we needed for a lovely break. It was also a treat to be able to bring our dog and the cottage was perfect for us.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting - everything required for comfort and practicality was available. It was perfect for my little labradoodle - she was safe and secure in the back yard.

The view was lovely. Little details....someone had pre-set everything in the fireplace ready to make a fire. Goodies in the fridge were much appreciated. We were surprised to find all the implements required to make a meal in the kitchen. All kinds of crockery & glassware, olive oil, pans, sharp knives, chopping boards, paper towels, spices etc. Lots of good, clean towels and blankets. Lots of spare wood and firelighters to make a fire. It felt very well considered. Everything was good quality & well kept. It felt very private. The owner was very responsive and very kindly allowed a late checkout which we appreciated a lot. Thank you!
