“Peaceful, private, calm. Thank you!”

Lovely little cottage in an excellent location, back off the Main Street but only a short walk to cafes and shops. Very comfortable for a couple, with everything you need for a short stay, including firewood which was much appreciated. The decor is calm and tasteful, and both the bed and sofa are super comfy. Loved having local birds visit the patio morning and evening, and the outlook across tree tops is beautiful. Also loved the 11am check out and the simple access instructions. Hope to stay again soon!

Location is perfect and we absolutely loved the bath. We are definitely visiting again. The place is perfect for couples. Wished we stayed a bit longer!

“Wonderful place to recharge and relax”

Our 4-night stay at Balneo was amazing. The villa had everything you could need. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom with spa bath, looking onto a private little garden, was well appointed. A highlight was hearing live acoustic music from a nearby venue quietly playing through the open bathroom window whilst relaxing in the bath on a Sunday afternoon. Couldn't have planned it better! The covered balcony was well protected and would be perfect in warm or cold weather. The visiting bird life was a joy to watch. We felt completely recharged after our visit and will definitely return.
