Among the 10+ places I stayed in during my long road trip, this was the very best one, by far! It’s a historical villa in a gated community, with a beautiful ocean view and stunning surroundings, furnished in a stylish and traditional way, yet with all modern amenities you would expect in a good hotel — perfectly silent temperature control (both AC and heating), a fridge, and a comfortable modern walk-in shower. There is more than enough parking space in case you come by car.

Peaceful location with good views over fields. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, Fabian provided useful information about the local area. Breakfast was provided and was very good. We would stay here again.

“A lovely location, excellent breakfast and comfortable, clean room.”
The breakfast was excellent, the view from the front of the property was amazing but it was too far to comfortably walk to the beach with the parasol and beach chairs.

“Fabulous location for exploring the Basque region”
The villa is beautiful, situated on a gated, private road overlooking the nearby coast. It is very tastefully decorated inside, the grounds are extensive with a large swimming pool and very comfortable sun loungers. Fabian and Marilyn live on site and are incredibly helpful. They provide a continental breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice, and eggs cooked to your liking. Fabian provides all you need to know about the surrounding area and is an attentive host.
