“Adorable apartment in a perfectly-located area of Hendaye with excellent walkability to amenities!”
Wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment. Stephane and Sophie met us at upon check-in for a quick but thorough rundown, provided a thoughtful welcome gift and said they were available by text for any questions. This cute apartment was super clean, safe, quiet and very well-equipped: elevator, full kitchen with full-sized appliances/clothes washer/ dishwasher, great wifi, two large smart TV's with Netflix and all the goodies, a large balcony for sunny afternoons and beautiful sunsets, ample closet space, pillows, blankets, towels, clothes rack, games, and plenty of natural lighting. The apartment is perfectly located within a short and easy walk to town, to the grocery stores and boulangeries, and to the promenade. The ferry, the marina, the beach and the train station are all within a 40-50 minute walk. We discovered many pathways which added to the charm of our visit. Due to business, we needed to stay a little longer. Our hosts were very accommodating. And we are very grateful. The apartment itself was the perfect size for our small family and there was nothing that was lacking. It has views of the mountains and Spain as well! Neighbors are super friendly. It was cozy and felt like our home away from home. And, for those looking for an excellent healthy vegetarian restaurant, take the 10-minute ferry ride from the marina over to Hondarribia. Walk along the promenade, heading toward the ocean/marina. You will find the popular restaurant called El Curry Verde (near the Sunday flea market). The food there is top notch! To ensure an indoor table, be sure to make a reservation. If you plan to stay in Hendaye, you will enjoy yourself here. This cute and convenient apartment is a MUST-STAY!

The view from the balcony is lovely. Apartment is fully equipped with everything you need, including dishwasher and washing machine. Staff was really nice and helpful. Train station is 20min walking distance from the apartment and 35min to Hendaye beach
