“Perfect choice for a short break to Lille”
The guest house was lovely and situated in a very nice neighbourhood which was peaceful. Parking was secure and we were able to leave the car behind and walk to a few places to eat in the evening as well as catch the tram to take us into Lille. The room itself was spacious, really clean and comfortable and overlooked the beautiful garden. There was an en-suite bathroom with plenty of hot water and everywhere was warm. The toilet was across the hallway however, although we didn't have to share it. Breakfast was very nice with tasty fresh bread from a local bakery. We didn't actually meet the hosts but communication was excellent and we were able to access the property with no issues. We felt the accommodation offered great value for money.

“nice experience”
The room is located in a nice area and the house is pretty. It is easy to visit the city centre by car. The landlord was very nice and tried to answer our questions even though he didn't speak English.

“Nice garden and a lovely area. But felt like we were intruding the family's privacy”
Location is in the nice area, however, if travelling by public transport it is a bit far from the closest bus stop. Especially in evenings, it's not easy to get to Roubaix or Lille since last transport is around 10pm. We came to see a concert in the Colisèe in Roubaix and had difficulty getting back after the concert. Somehow I thought it's a B&B but it turns out it's just a downstairs bedroom that is being offered in an otherwise private house. It is close to Villa Cavrois, so that's nice. And the garden of the property is lovely and private.

Lovely green and quiet location in an industrial bordertown. It feels like finding a gem. Proper bathroom, good bed and nice breakfast. All well arranged,l and communicated.
