This family-run hotel is only 30 metres from Helsingør Train Station and a 1-hour ride from Copenhagen International Airport. It offers en-suite rooms and free WiFi internet throughout the building. A flat-screen TV, work desk and seating area are found in each room at Hotel Skandia. Some face the street, while others overlook the hotel’s quiet courtyard. Drinks and snack can be bought at reception. Staff will gladly recommend local restaurants or attractions. Helsingør Castle is a 4-minute drive away. Lovely staff and directly in front of the train station ! The hotel can temporarily store your belongings before check-in and after check-out. Breakfast is served early and is good

“Conveniently located by train and ferry station”
Hotel is located right in front of the Train station. The breakfast was plentiful and a good choice of buffet items. Breakfast room was lightly and airy. Room was a decent size and walk-in shower was very good. The reception will look after your bag after checkout so you can continue to explore Helsingor.

“Convenient and basic”
Proximity to the train station and to the castle. Friendly receptionist (who’s also in charge of breakfast). Quiet street. Room had all basic needs and bed was comfortable.

Cosy hotel, the room was very spacious, with view of the harbour. It was clean and the breakfast simple but good. I can definitely recommend the hotel. Very suitable for kids.

“Well located comfortable family run hotel with parking available.”
Centrally located with parking available (not free). Housekeeping was attentive and thoughtful. Tea and coffee making facilities were appreciated and the room was a good size. Breakfast was plentiful (although no herbal or decaffeinated fruit teas offered). Staff helpful and friendly.
